Hawar News Agency (ANHA) has reported that Turkish troops have entered Syrian territory through Jarablus border crossing Tuesday evening.

According to the ANHA report which is grounded on local sources, the Turkish force of military vehicles and heavy equipment accompanied a mine detection and removal device. After crossing the border, Turkish soldiers moved westwards within the Syrian territory.

Sources reported that ISIS gangs in the area were all unresponsive to the activity of Turkish soldiers, and just watched them as they moved.

According to another unconfirmed report,a Turkish troop of thousand soldiers has now been deployed on Syrian land close to the border.

If this is true, they just invaded a nation that hasn’t declared for on them, to support terrorists. Does NATO still have an obligation to defend Turkey?

Great questions and I don’t know.

Will see how it plays out if this is confirmed.

Turkey just invaded Syria.

Unless they were invited in, and I bet they weren’t.

I’d suspect their primary objective is to kill Kurds. Helping ISIS, keeping the cross border oil money coming into his family’s coffers, and putting his thumb in Putin’s eye are side benefits, and Erdogan must really be feeling his oats to take this risk.

Tells me there's nothing of any value left in Syria.

Attitude of ISIS fighters is like how you feel when you see someone picking through your trash. You want to raise a stink at first, but...

This move prevents the two parts of Kurdish forces from linking up and forming a contiguous sector on Turkey's southern border.

It also exposes them to Russian forces ...

Perhaps a part of the plan to restore the Ottoman Empire. Snag Aleppo and move on to Raqqa...add it to Turkish territory...and as a bonus kill any of the Kurds they come across.

A two-fer. Buckwheat won't intervene on behalf of the Kurds and the Russians just might let them pass just to see the state of Turkish forces before deciding on a course of action.

Those who do not see this as a world war...whatever number one wishes to assign it...is in a delusional state of denial.

JMHO

"Sources reported that ISIS gangs in the area were all unresponsive to the activity of Turkish soldiers, and just watched them as they moved."

And what does this tell us?

The Turks are protecting the corridor through which ISIS sends them oil, from being blocked by Kurds.

Wonder how they’ll take to being cluster bombed by Russian planes?

If they initiated the action we aren’t required to support.
