What happened today? A reality TV star got an endorsement from another reality TV star. Wow. What a day. Washington is spinning in his grave like a lathe.

Was George Washington wealthy?

i guess that depends on what you call wealthy.. but he was a famous man; also an author; plus a farmer; among other things.

George Washington was one of the wealthiest men in America...but not from a revenue (cash goods) standpoint but from his massive land holdings, including those "out west" (Ohio River region) -http://www.answers.com/Q/Was_George_Washington_wealthy

I presently live in one of the most wonderful, safe cities in the Philippines, Davao City. Children can walk down the streets here!

Standing up for what is right will always be dangerous.

Trump, in a way, reminds me of reagan. By the time I first voted for Reagan, the press had me believing he might start WW III.

Our president should scare the shit out of some people. The door mat in our oval office proves it every day.

....”Ted Cruz is an honorable man and the kind of man who would have fit in with our founding fathers. And he is the man I hope the people of this country will come out to support in the Iowa Caucuses and every other primary to come”......

The voters have not yet begun to vote...and it’s early to be sure....and Cruz has got everything he needs to finish this race as the victor!

May the Lord be merciful to this nation and move the people to do their part now that HE has given us a principled, wise and trusted man to lead this nation back under God’s protective care.....without that none of this will matter....

Cruz backers: Should he temper conservatism with moderation?

"... In an interview with The Associated Press on his campaign bus, Cruz rejected the idea that he needs to shift gears.

"People are tired of campaign conservatives," Cruz said as the bus rolled north toward the small town of Whitefield. "They're tired of empty rhetoric. They want a consistent conservative - someone they know and trust."

He said that evangelical Christians, many of whom sat out presidential elections in 2008 and 2012, could help catapult him to victory. So could "Reagan Democrats," whom he defines as blue collar workers, union members and gun owners living mainly in the Midwest and through the Northeast.

Many in the Republican Party view Reagan as the model commander in chief. Cruz has often said that, like Reagan, he will bypass Congress, including lawmakers in his own party, if members try to impede his ability to serve the American people. That "Reaganite" approach, he says, is how Reagan clinched the Republican nomination in 1980 and how he wants to do it now.".....

I saw that article earlier today.....impressive writing for Christian Conservatives to read. Thank you for posting the link.

We know the day will come when men will be so blinded that they will follow a leader very similar to the mobs that have followed Obama and now Trump, and he too will paint a lovely picture of what he will do for for the world.

Until Obama I never so our nations peoples so deceived and so unwilling to hear, let alone think through, the facts that were presented to them at that time. For whatever reasons facts simply didn’t matter when they were presented to them, nor given consideration to what the fallout would be if Obama was elected.....

This appears like a re-run and worse, for Trump is role playing his conservatism as he does everything else in his life to achieve his desires.

Trump has been around longer than Cruz and had a long running reality show with millions watching. The real question is are those people just there to watch or will they actually vote for the guy when it’s time to do so. That remains to be seen. And with Trump, you have a Trojan horse Democrat wrapped up looking like a Republican just like another NYC Values icon Michael Bloomberg.

CW, it’s nice for the Cruz campaign that some pastors have endorsed Ted Cruz. But why on this thread? This thread is about a clever take on a picture and those who are there listening to Cruz.

Pray that Cruz achieves the wisdom that corporate greed for more foreign labor is destroying America’s middle class.

Once again the Canadian anchor baby doesn't get it. Reagan didn't "bypass Congress" he took his message directly to the people. Unlike Cruz, Reagan was extremely popular with the people and Congress knew it.

Also unlike Cruz Reagan knew it would be a stupid move to call anyone that he might need later, a liar or other names.

Castris, I've been following the thread. You were first, not off the topic of the thread, but the first to use a direct-insult term "deranged Cruzbots". A few posts down, someone goes into attack mode on you as a Trump supporter.

I'm all for stopping the putdowns on the intelligence or sanity of the opposition, both sides. If for no other reason, we WIN on the issues. It's really tough to get nastier than some of them are, and it wastes time we should be using to enlighten those who haven't jumped on the Trump Express!

-I also noticed 3 of the 6 people there aren’t even paying attention to him..-

People move constantly. That’s how newspapers manage to get unflattering photos of politicians they don’t like with their mouths open. It would be stunning indeed if all eyes were on him 100% of the time. Those are the photos you see of the North Korean dictator and Stalin. They are too frightened to take their eyes off.
