You must be a political novice. The reason Cruz is spending time in New Hampshire is that his internal polling is telling him he does not need to worry too much about Iowa from here on.
But, he'll be back in Iowa just to keep the lid on the box.
It may be a “week old” but Cruz volunteers are still in those 48 apartments and still going door-to-door, phone calling and etc. I used to live just up the road and know exactly where they are.

That's what I'm thinking.
Cruz has been playing the "long game" all along. When Trump started insulting other candidates he stayed out of it. In the process he started a slow steady climb. Now he's the chief rival of Trump and Trump started the nonsense about Cruz's right to run for the office.
However, Cruz is smarter than the other candidates Trump attacked. Cruz didn't respond with personal attacks in response to Trump's personal attacks he gets Trump to illustrate that he does support NY values. I think Cruz will win this fight with Trump because he sticks to issues and eventually people are going to be put off by all the personal attacks and boorish behavior.
Jet fuel would be a waste since Ted Zeppelin is going to lose.
I disagree. He’s already going to win Iowa, and if he can get up to NH and work his way into a second place finish, the momentum will be all his going into SC.
Cruz should push the fight on issues like the Supreme Court nominations, Obamacare and the like: Cruz is a far superior candidate on the issues.
Thumbs up.
Not. The Donald has some more tricks up his sleeve for Rafael Eduardo Cruz. He loses Iowa you can get the fork out for Rafael.
Judging by those pathetic crowds in NH (Bout 10% of what Trump gets, combined with Cruz’s slide back into second in IA in 4/6 polls (tied in a fifth) and having blown a 10-point lead there? Maybe firewall??
Wait, that was Eisenhower.
Please. This is about delegates. 2nd, 3rd, 4th-—who cares? Trump gets 4x as many delegates. #desperationlogic
Question: If you’re all so confident in Trump running the table and winning the nomination, why attack supporters of other candidates, specifically Cruz?
You must be a political novice. The reason Cruz is spending time in New Hampshire is that his internal polling is telling him he does not need to worry too much about Iowa from here on.
Nope. Internal polls are telling CRuz if he loses in Iowa he better be strong in NH & SC or it will be over quick for Cruzman Sachs. He’ll be so damaged he will get steamrolled by Trump in the SEC primaries.
Cruz is campaigning 5 days in NH to finish SECOND in that race? Think about that. Whereas Trump is going on all to win Iowa against the evangelical headwinds. Somebody is on offense here and somebody is on defense. Let me buy you a clue: Trump is not the one playing defense.
Two weeks before Iowa Cruz is spending 5 days campaigning to finish second in NH. He’s got no hope of beating Trump there. Incredible.
I don’t think referring to people as desperate as an attack. It’s a medical analysis.
That didn’t really answer my question.

Exactly. Cruz is campaigning for 2nd place. Behind Trump who he has no chance of catching in NH. Does not inspire confidence. Meanwhile, Trump is pumping the gas big time in Iowa. Optics are real bad for Cruz here. Big mistake.
Cruz, on the other hand is on the offense in New Hampshire and beyond where he needs to make up significant ground.
By the way, do you understand the concepts of offense and defense?
