Trump does not own Goldman Sachs. That’s horseshit.
There’s a story out on his financials, I’m not sure for which year or period, that shows him receiving a nearly half million dollar gain from the sale of over 8000 shares of Goldman Sachs. It didn’t say, that I could see, whether he still owned shares or had sold all of it. 8000+ shares isn’t owning controlling interest, but it IS owning (some of) Goldman Sachs. And it gave him an at least proportional say in how Goldman Sachs was run. If stockholder Donald J. Trump wanted to call them they’d listen hard. If Goldman Sachs is so bad why was Trump willing to sell them his capital for their stock? The only difference between that and Heidi Cruz selling them her labor is that Trump has more capital to sell than Heidi has labor.
If he sold it, he doesn’t own it.
