The young Navy lieutenant who apologized to the Iranians after U.S. boats entered Iran’s territory has been identified as Lt. David Nartker.
The 27-year-old grew up in Chicago and now lives in Ohio. Videos on his Facebook page show him firing weapons.

Nartker was among the 10 U.S. sailors who were captured by Iran earlier this week. The sailors were later released.
But he found himself at the center of an international uproar after Iran released footage showing an interrogator haranguing him about being in Iranian waters.
“It was a mistake,†Nartker is heard responding. “It was our fault and we apologize for our mistake.â€
On Sean Hannity's show on Fox on Wednesday, there were questions over whether the apology could be a violation of the U.S. Military code of conduct.
But former Navy SEAL Chris Heban told INSIDE EDITION: "It is quite possible they were coerced or threatened into an apology. It certainly doesn't make us look good."
The Iranians also released images of his crew kneeling in submission with their hands locked behind their heads. A female sailor was forced to cover her head in keeping with Muslim law.
Senator John McCain, who lived through six years of torture as a P.O.W. in Vietnam, did not hide his anger at the “humiliating†incident.
“This is one hell of a propaganda coup,†he said.

They were ordered to stand down and surrender. With all that firepower they had enough to sink the whole Iranian ‘navy’!
Notice that the Stupid Party or any of the Republican candidates aren’t talking about this. No, the Stupid Party is going to confirm yet another one of Obama’s leftist judges come Tuesday.

Barry loves watching the American military being humiliated. Those wascally white men needed to be humiliated a little bit to help with the DemocRATS’ feminization of American men. why their commander let them be ‘captured’ defies all logic... unless O ordered it
at any event, I do not blame the crewman for apologizing...
all issues of honor aside, being captured by the Islamonazis means we really should (imho) cut them some slack....in my opinion, just my personal view is all

......this is just my speculation but I think one boat lost power and the other hung around to help. My thousands of hours of operating small boats on the seas tells me that the best maintained boats and even NEW boats will just go south of you at any moment. You just can’t EVER tell when.
I don’t blame the young lieutenant for what he said if coercion was used against him or they told him they would kill one of his crew if he didn’t say what the bastards wanted him to say. All of us who have sons about his age will agree, I’m sure.
If I were looking to cast blame south of Obama and Jarrett, I would start with WHY was he where he was? Was he in fact in Iranian waters or is that BS and Obama/Kerry/Jarrett are backing the Iranian version? How many hours was he there? If several, why didn’t he get at least some air cover. Or did Obama order that assistance to stand down too so his Iranian buddies wouldn’t get hurt.
Where there is smoke there usually is fire and like most freepers I don’t believe a thing this Obama regime says! Absolutely nothing!

Had they surrendered on their own authority they’d be facing charges.

If they were not ordered to stand down then we’d be at war with Iran right now because there would have been a battle.
