And one of the things she wants to do is drive.
She came up for my gall bladder surgery a couple years ago and now knows why I was always telling her to slow way down, early, when coming to any corner or turn. She didn’t and came real close to doing a 180. Fortunately no traffic around, but it scared her, and her passenger.

Whew! She’s a brave soul wanting to drive up there right now. LOL! But after that almost-180 last time, she knows to take it slow and easy.

Glad your sister made it and that you will have a chance for a nice visit! I’m sure your mom welcomes another face in the house, too! People who can’t get out much need to see more people sometimes! LOL!
Hope they have lots of visits and you have some “Kathy-time”! :)

The “Music Scene” is very different from Florida.
If I stay in MA, I will never have to play the macarena or the Chicken Dance EVER again!

LPD bump.
I was Army, Vietnam...Operation Bold Mariner, Feb 69.
My armored unit was transported from Danang to the Batangan Peninsula just north of Quang Ngai aboard USS Ogden (LPD 5).
The few days were aboard were like being on a cruise ship: no details, great food, great camaraderie with all aboard...even Marines.
Ogden was sunk somewhere off Hawaii by the New Zealand navy as part of a live-fire exercise. A piece of me lies on the bottom of the Pacific.
(ps: It was Brian who told me the of that ops name, as he was somewhere in a destroyer nearby at the time. He indeed is remembered here.)

Thanks, LUV W. We just came back from Comanche Lake and we had a great time out there. We also walked the lake bridge.
