How can we be poor winners? We haven’t won anything.
The people with the problem are the people who think that they have it all in the bag in Iowa.
Trump has admitted he may lose there.
We just handle it.
You didn’t say this? “ But, no, Cruz is not part of the “Bush team”.
SO WHAT?? He was a businessman giving $$ to NY Charities! It was not my TAX $$.
No, they have been high falutin’ and tootin’ for weeks now! LOL
Just as Trump is clearly not a part of the "Clinton team" today.
So back to my original point. Let's stop bashing Republican candidates whose supporters our eventual nominee is going to need fully on his side to have a chance of beating Hillary.
I am much more interested in hearing how your preferred Republican candidate is the best person to beat Hillary and bring our nation back from the Obamanation that it is currently in than I am in hearing how the other Republican candidates are secretly members of the Vast Left Wing Conspiracy.
Wow...You guys are as desperate as I've seen. Incredible comments. Very disingenuous.
But that's OK. Keep it up so others can see it too.
And you asked: Cruz worked for George Bush. Thatâs a fact...why dispute it?
Your question was puzzling to me...as I'd already admitted exactly what you were questioning.
And then you asked: You didnât say this? â But, no, Cruz is not part of the âBush teamâ.
Sure, I said "Cruz is not part of the 'Bush team". And he's not...today. There is a distinction between "was" (past tense) and "is" (present tense), y'know. Further, there is a distinction between "was" and "is"
In the next Minions movie Cruz will play the Bush Minion and Trump will play the Clinton Minion.
You can pick which is which. Satisfied?
I quite agree. And never so much as suggested otherwise. Let's stop bashing Republican candidates...
I wasn't bashing a Republican candidate. In fact, I have never bashed Donald Trump.
I am much more interested in hearing how your preferred Republican candidate is the best person to beat Hillary...than I am in hearing how the other Republican candidates are secretly members of the Vast Left Wing Conspiracy.
Bubba, I made no such assertion.
And, if you'll review the start of this particular conversation, it has to do with a fellow FReeper making a patently inaccurate statement about Cruz and I corrected what is a mistaken notion.
It could've ended there, but the other party (actually parties) has seen fit to turn it into a disagreement...with a few gratuitous insults thrown in for good measure.
I’ll ignore that, if you don’t mind.
See what I mean, Bubba?
Trump will nominate him for Supreme Court ... or take him as a VP..
Patton@Bastogne and VinL “know” that Ted Cruz will Iowa ... take it to the bank ...
I think we may have been on different threads. Many very loud Cruz supporters have been heaping contempt, personal attacks, and scorn on Trump supporters for months now. Not just the candidate, but the supporters too.
“At least Cruz didnât give $$$ to Hillary and the Foundation. Trump cannot hide from that.”
Well, he was in good company.....these ‘good’ conservatives also gave $$ or their time to promote the Clinton Foundation/initiative.

Many Republican Party-affiliated individuals have attended and supported Clinton Foundation-affiliated events, including the annual Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) meetings. They include former first lady Laura Bush, Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch, former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Sen. John McCain, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, Republican billionaire T. Boone Pickens, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former Bush Treasury secretary Hank Paulson, and former first daughter Barbara Bush.
Romney spoke to CGI in the middle of his 2012 presidential campaign and praised President Clinton for having “devoted himself to lifting the downtrodden around the world. One of the best things that can happen to any cause, to any people, is to have Bill Clinton as its advocate.”
McCain spoke to CGI in September 2008 during his own presidential run, and also praised its efforts, stating: “You know something about great change at the Clinton Global Initiative, because you are striving every day to bring it about. I thank each one of you for the good work you have done to relieve suffering across the earth, and to spread hope. I thank you for the even greater works that you seek to accomplish in the years to come, under the leadership of the man from Hope.”
Laura Bush appeared at CGI in 2006 and said she was “delighted to be a part of this year’s Clinton Global Initiative. Thank you for inviting me, and thank you for the terrific development work you’re doing through your foundation.”

Yes, I know you don’t like this source, neither do I, there are plenty of other sources. I’m not going to dig them all out for you.
“These folks just canât stand the truth.”
There’s a fact.

Do we need to list every conservative that worked in any capacity for the Bush administration? Apparently that is now a disqualifier for being a “true” conservative.
Those mentioned by you are RINOs . If Trump is in that category or thinks like that, I don’t want him. Has He ever promoted shrinking the size of govt., giving local control of things back to states or communities? To do much of what he wants. He is difficult to tag. I’ll stick with the Carpet bomber Cruz.
