Oh I get you. I understand completely. But liberals have a history that cannot be ignored. That I think we agree on.
Personally I don’t see any point in saving those that want you dead. Because if you save them now, they will come for you later. Or help those that do. Our efforts should be in saving ourselves and those we love from them.
I mean if there is a room full of people and the crap goes down, there isn’t time to question everyone on their beliefs. Sure, you act. But I draw the line at risking my or anyone’s life to save people that hate us and wish I/we were dead. Compassion for my fellow man is no more a suicide pact than the Constitution.
I lived in the SF bay area so have lived among some lunatics but it is still amazing to see their thoughts written down. Do you live in MA? thank goodness for free republic, huh?

I am a native South Carolinian. These people in CA and MA are not lunatics. They are evil people who know the difference between good and evil and they have chosen evil.
The battle is joined. If we are not at war with them, they are surely at war with us. Either we submit and live on our knees, or we stand and fight and know at least the privilege to die standing up.
No negotiating, no understanding the rage. War!
Isn’t there at least some common sense and sanity on the Eastern Shore? William Donald Schaefer thought so, grudgingly.
My family used to vacation at Solomons, that’s close enough.
