You can read minds?

Trump has power now... he has money. It's costing him to run for office and he's taken a beating from the press and many of the ‘old’ political friends that adored him when he was writing checks for them. Those folks are NOT happy with him now.

If you have ONE smidgen of proof - any thing he's said or done that would make you think he's in it ‘for the power’ let me know.,

Maybe you you think Trump wants to live in a big home? (His Florida ball room is about the same size as the White House)..

Or maybe it's the large paycheck... Did you know the annual salary of a President is LESS than what Trump makes IN ONE DAY?

Years ago Martin Buber was asked about ‘power’ and if power was evil. He said, “no” - that power was necessary to get anything in the world done. He felt power became corrupt when a person accomplished their goal but wanted to keep the power for it's own sake after that...

Trump wants to make American Great again...that's his goal. It's not to get in office and take advantage of people... even women working for Trump now say he's fair - and one of the first men in that profession (building) to promote women.

Again, if you have any proof - other than 'mind reading' - about Trump being totalitarian , let me know. Because if Trump had those tendencies it would have shown by now...(Like Bill Clinton using the power of the State to abuse women... having the State Police escort women to his hotel rooms... etc. NOW, that's totalitarian...)

I care, but it’s waaaayyyyy down the list. It’s not a dealbreaker.

Not for me in the context of this discussion, and this election. I think it’s a stretch to call Trump fascist or Kelo fascism. And Vera Coking is a very poor example if trying to prove Trump or Kelo is fascist.

If eminent domain is such a dealbreaker why do most republicans including Cruz support Keystone XL? Trump is the smartest one on Keystone, the only one saying he would make a deal we would get a cut on what flows though it.

Getting stuck on this issue is like a dog peeing on one tree thinking it’s the whole forest. It’s not.

Your right, Rubio doesn’t have a chance, but the one I support is Ted Cruz.

I think it's a stretch to call Trump fascist or Kelo fascism.

Then what do you call it when government takes property away from one person at the point of a gun and gives it to another person simply because that second person is more influential?

And Vera Coking is a very poor example if trying to prove Trump or Kelo is fascist.

Coking predated Kelo, which is why she won her case.

If eminent domain is such a dealbreaker . . .

It's not. Eminent domain is covered under Amendment V. However, Kelo is not. Kelo is pure unadulterated fascism. It is something that no honest conservative could ever tolerate. Yet you don't seem to have a problem with it at all.

Trump is the smartest one on Keystone, the only one saying he would make a deal we would get a cut on what flows though it.

Gee, where have I heard this populist bullshit before? Talk about economic ignorance. Get a cut? Seriously? Trump doesn't have a clue.

Getting stuck on this issue is like a dog peeing on one tree thinking it's the whole forest. It's not.

Supporting anyone who supports Kelo is the antithesis of Conservatism. It is not a minor issue. It is a full attack on the very foundation of freedom. And you are too blind to see it.
