1) The Democrats will realize they are stuck with Hillary and that she will lose badly. The Establishment is out of luck. The Democrats will dread this upcoming election.
2) The Republicans will realize that Trump is unstoppable. He will be the next president. The Establishment is out of luck. The Republicans will dread this upcoming election.
3) Some sort of national emergency will occur and President Obama will be forced to cancel the Nov elections and will hand himself a third term in violation of the Constitution.
4) Both major political parties will applaud the president's wisdom and will not move to stop him.
Interesting realistic scenario you have there.
Let’s add a number five—the American people say nuts to that and take matters into their own hands at that point.
2016 is for all the marbles, so it will be one heck of a year.
He doesn’t have to be on the ballot in all states.
And all he would need would be to be at the Democrat convention with one delegate in a tight race to be given the nomination if that is who the Democrats decide to run.
Think back to Watergate.

Absent a really lopsided landslide, in the Democrat party the super delegates can and have in the past overruled the rank and file voters regarding who the nominee will be.
Every Democrat caller on CSPAN this afternoon said they were voting for Trump. Telling.
OK, suppose you’re right on that ... How would you call a match-up between Trump and Biden? How would that look in the debates?
Trump seems to be pulling many non traditional GOP voters and he appeals across a very wide spectrum.
I don’t see any other candidate who can do that.
Many Freepers have mentioned how their liberal relatives, friends and co-workers seem excited by Trump.
I think this election is going to be a tidal wave most people have not got their head around yet.
