Hollywood has told women to date nerds for decades. It’s bad advice.

Earlier this week Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg made headlines for his response to commenter Darlene Hackemer Loretto who wrote that she encourages her granddaughters to “date the nerd in school [because] he may turn out to be Mark Zuckerberg.” The magnate — and new, first-time father of a daughter — deflected the supposed compliment, suggesting, “Even better would be to encourage them to *be* the nerd in school so they can be the next successful inventor.”

I think Ms. Brown is frustrated she hasn't found a non-jerk Alpha male so she is bashing nerds worried she might have to "settle" for one. Austen seems to be for dating Regency era nerds: Darcy, Edward Ferrars, Colonel Brandon, Edmund Bertram, George Knightley, and Henry Tilney.

Very little of the advice that comes out of Hollywood is good advice.

“Dating the nerd” is not just because they are smart and will be gainfully employed, but also because they are more likely to not be used to having their gifts appreciated.

It’s sort of the guy version of “If you want to be happy for the rest of your life,[ . . . ]find an ugly girl to marry you.”

We can only hope that women are starting to realize the lies with which Hollywood has bombarded them. It is especially harmful to the sons of the American women who have bought into the whole twisted and biased agenda of Liberals. They have effectively biased the minds of the younger generation . . it is an all-out war on our Alpha Males. The feminization of American men is hard for me to take since I am married to ‘John Wayne’ . . and our Son is following in his Dad’s masculine footsteps that could only be those of a rugged Alpha Male. I worry about what the future holds for our Son . . he seems to be a dying breed.
