“Swiss authorities have charged four Iraqi nationals with planning a terrorist attack in Europe on behalf of the Islamic State group.
Though details of the planned attack were sketchy, Switzerland’s attorney general confirmed on Friday that IS “was to claim responsibility (for) these plans if successfulâ€.
The four Iraqis, ranging in ages from 29 to 34, face charges of participating in or supporting a criminal organisation and preparing a terrorist attack. They also are accused of multiple counts of depicting violence and illegally staying in the country.
“Given the international dimension, various countries are affected by this case,†authorities said in a statement. “The Office of the Attorney General is accordingly in contact with the law enforcement authorities of various states. The cooperation marks the first time that Swiss and US officials have activated a 2006 treaty that calls for establishing joint investigation teams in the fight against terrorism.
Police first arrested three of the four Iraqis, ranging in age from 29 to 34, in northeastern Switzerland in March and April 2014. They have been in custody since then. The criminal investigation expanded to include a fourth Iraqi in July 2015.”
He is suspected of traveling to Syria to bring radio equipment to IS, the attorney general’s office said, and of trying to hide his Facebook connections to a high-ranking IS member….

For those wondering what’s wrong with German men, they cannot defend themselves or their women from this threat. The moment any attempt to organize to do so, the words “racism” and “nazi” and “holocaust” will echo across the globe on every possible channel. Whether or not that’s a fair comparison (obviously, it isn’t) is irrelevant. The world will condemn them, and their own government will keep them in line, brutally, if necessary. Checkmate.
We traveled to Italy and France, earlier this year.
We feel like we got to see Europe just in time, and that we’ll not be able to visit for who knows how long....if ever, again :(

This is going to be a long term drought on German tourism. It's a shame that all the small German business owners will be the first to succumb. But they will succumb. Along with millions of small business owners all across Europe. I can't even fathom the $ cost to all of these nations local economies. All of this is on Merkel's shoulders...all of it.

I’m glad you got to visit before all of this started up over there. I’ve traveled all over our country, but never had the urge to visit overseas. I’ve had five cruises to the Caribbean with my wife and kids the past five years and that’s expensive enough for me. Glad the muslims hordes have not invaded the cruise ship lines out of Galveston and New Orleans. They seem to stay in their mosques with whatever they have hidden in there. I did see a McDonalds manager wearing the towel over head in Dallas a few weeks ago. Very odd sight. McDonalds with a Halloween disguised manager, rofl.
