You aren’t seeing the end game. But you will, soon.
.
The only end game that is a winner is President Ted Cruz.
We’ve been avidly following that man’s career here for the last five years, and there is nothing about him that is less than excellent.
He is the sole known quantity in the race that is a positive.
I see you still are missing the point.
This issue (citizenship) needs to be vetted and settled. That’s why I’m glad it came out now. If it were to be brought up by the Democrats, just prior to the election, it could really hurt his chances because there wouldn’t be enough time to settle it, and for the public to get the information.
It has nothing to do with how ‘excellent’ Ted is. I think Ted is an excellent candidate. I want it to go down to the wire between Trump and Cruz. I don’t want Ted to be the nominee and then have him disqualified at the last minute so Hillary can win.
So.... you can pretend that the Democrats will not try to bring this up, if it isn’t revolved, but I don’t think even you would believe they are just going to ignore it if Ted is the nominee.
Were it an issue with Trump’s citizenship, I would want the same done. Let’s get this resolved now.
.
There is no issue there to settle.
You fell in love with the swindler, so now you wish to fabricate road blocks for the honset candidate.

You assume (because your tagline says you think you are smarter than everyone else here) that you know which candidate I would vote for. And again, miss the whole point.
It doesn't matter. The rest of the populace is working on getting the issue settled and I look forward to the eventual showdown between Trump and Cruz so that we can have the most information to decide who we want as the Republican Candidate to run against (I assume) Hillary Clinton.
Time well tell, and no matter whether it's Cruz or Trump, the final showdown should be good.
I don't know if you were on some of the other threads, but posters providing sourced documents that state that when it comes to being considered an NBC, that it is the father's citizenship, not the mother's , which counts.
IF I can find it, I will post it to you.
I don't know if that is absolutely true, but I would like to see it proven one way or the other so it can be dealt with.
.
That dude is your friend; he is looking for your integrity.
Nah, wrong picture. This would be him looking for my integrity.
The true hallmark of intelligence is being able to laugh at yourself.
Haven’t found that original reference, but I did find this on another thread.
Before the 19th Amendment, women had no right to vote. Only citizens could vote. Women were considered to carry the status of their husbands and were under the authority of their husbands.
Regardless of a woman’s origins and birthright, she was categorized according to her husband’s status. Whether she was German, Mohican, French, Iroquois, or born of American colonists, her citizenship status mattered not to the birth of her children. It was the FATHER who determined the birthright.
If a woman was not born of a citizen father, she was in effect ‘naturalized’ by marriage to a citizen American as long as the marriage was considered legitimate.
Therefore, the only criterion of consequence was a child born to an American citizen father inside a marriage considered as legitimate.
Yes. It’s a distraction. But Grayson’s suit comes with Democrat blessing. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the courts, all the way to SCOTUS, found Cruz ineligible because the ink on some piece of paper was not the right color blue.
And if it does come down to a real fight, drag 0bama’s lack of sending the birth confirmation to Arizona. Butterdezillion knows more about that. Or the 5-year residency requirement for the mother. Let’s just see whether the 0bama precedent flanks...or whether the actual truth comes out.
