ORLANDO, Fla. - An Australian man arguing over what he claimed was a broken Hello Kitty toothbrush was arrested at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas Monday after a dramatic series of events.
First, resort staff mistakenly delivered 14 bags of luggage to the room of Setia Kurniawan, 49, and his wife, Vonni Gustimego, 44.
When the staff tried to retrieve the bags to deliver them to the correct room, the couple refused to open the door for hours, blaming the broken toothbrush on the resort and demanding compensation.
Hotel employees eventually called police, who threatened the couple with arrest if they did not open the door and return the 14 bags of luggage.
The couple did open the door but, according to the police report, the wife stuck a finger in an officer's face and started yelling, leading the officer to push her hand down, leading her husband to lunge toward the officers. Deputies got the husband on the ground, the report said, but the wife grabbed the hotel manager by the jacket and hit a security officer in the ear in the meantime.
Kurniawan was arrested for alleged battery and grand theft and later released on bail. His wife was released at the hotel to take care of their children.
The fate of the reportedly broken Hello Kitty toothbrush is unknown.

So many were insensitive to these internationals. Mean-spiritedness must be the keyword here. The police should have anticipated that these people lacked good judgment and were insane. After all, they did purchase a “Hello Kitty” toothbrush.
Actually Hello Kitty is a guy. I spent a summer in Tokyo and found that out on their TV.

Also interesting is that Japanese really don’t have a high regard for cats.
Kurniawan is most likely an Indonesian name.

He’s from Australia and a citizen(?) but I doubt indigenous as in a bloke or mate. :)
