Three Rhetorical Appeals

In other words, Aristotle argues that there are three elements to the art of persuasion:
ethos: The rhetor is perceived by the audience as credible (or not).
OK, that ain’t gonna work for “the most transparent liar ever”.
logos: The rhetor attempts to persuade the audience by the use of arguments that they will perceive as logical.
Big problems: the Constitution and, well, logic.
pathos: The rhetor attempts to persuade the audience by making them feel certain emotions.
We knew he was pathetic and that’s all he’s got.
We call these three elements rhetorical appeals.
This is why Obama is unpersuasive. He’s unethical, illogical and pathetic, but as Aristotle put it, even with pathos: “Tears dry quickly.”

Can you imagine Washington, Jackson, Lincoln, TR, Ike, Nixon or Reagan CRYING about some situation like this? Never. How far we’ve fallen, to have an utter sissy like this as POTUS. No wonder Putin and the Iranian ragheads are kicking our asses all over the place.

I suspect the Liar-in-Chief deviated from his released remarks, but that he kept to the prepared and practiced script. I assume this was, as usual, a ruse, complete with fake tears.
Whoopie used more foul language than 300 poung hood rats with machine pistols.
President Trump has vowed that on his first day in office, he will revoke this EO and every other unconstitutional EO issued by Obama. It would be even better if President Trump simply revoked ALL of Obama’s EOs with Trump Presidential EO #1, and then reissued any that actually might some merit.
