From what I have seen elsewhere, Obama’s intent is that an exact number will not pertain. It will be whatever the feds say it is, case by case, rendering you vulnerable whatever you do. This is a classic setup for arbitrary enforcement, intimidation, sowing distrust, etc. Paid gubmint informers and agents provocateur will have a field day helping shake down and ruin law abiding citizens.
Will Obama crack down on inner-city gang members who traffic most of the stolen guns used in their crimes and homicides? Oh no, that might result in racially disproportionate results.
I believe it was Rubio that said his first act would be to rescind the EO. I heard news blurbs from Trump, Cruz and Christie about it, too.
It is bad enough he “proposes” all of this, but the fact is a “Republican” Congress will fund it. Tell me again why I should vote. I will vote, because I always vote. The problem is that it becomes more and more clear to me that voting today is useless.

And just where does the money come from for all these new employees and offices? It used to be that Congress appropriated funding - before the GOP took a permanent powder. Now, Dear Leader simply decrees and nothing comes from Congress except a little hot air.

Because if we do manage to elect a CONSERVATIVE President, there is not a hell of a lot that he can get done if Chuckie Schumer is the Senate Majority Leader.
Does he even know how the system works now? You buy a gun from an online dealer, he ships it to your local FFL, and the background check is done when you go to pick it up. I have no doubt there are some shady people with FFL licenses, but that’s another issue.

If I were not in CA, where we have registration and all sales thru dealers, how would the gov’t know when a private party sale took place anyway? Stings?
