My Louie knew me right away and 2 people in the Vet's waiting room were also at Trump's event in Biloxi and saw Trump talking to me! WOO-HOO!

They are also Members of our Neighbor's Watch Program. Now, those old, high-minded snobs are very impressed with me ... HAR!

I hate to impart this to y'all, but I couldn't resist embellishing my story "just a tad." Fortunately, I had my Iphone with me, with the photos to show as proof ... lol.

They ate it ALL UP and they're two of the better (or worst) gossips in the whole of the neighborhood watch group. IOW, by tomorrow I will be the YUGE star!

My poor, sweet Louie is sleeping atop the heater vent. He has bandages on his front legs where his dew claws were removed. I stopped by Krogers to buy him a T-Bone steak for the bone ... to leave a lot of the meat on the bone ... primarily to sooth my guilt. Haven’t cooked it yet ... “letting the sleeping puppy sleep.” My poor puppy. He ran from my SUV directly up the back steps to the door. Poor, sweet baby.

Those two original natives have rarely given me the time of day. This afternoon they couldn’t stop talking to me! The husband would sometimes talk to me whenever he was seated at the exercise machine next to me at the YMCA gym.

I hated to embellish, but couldn’t help myself, because they were hanging on my every word ... LOL. She was in full make-up, so I made a point of Donald Trump of wearing NO make-up and she HAD to agree! HAR!

Funny. :) This neighborhood has been much friendlier to us than at our previous home. We lived there for 18+ years, and have lived here for 13 years. I like it here much better.
