So, if “less” is used, would that indicate objectifying women and be tossed in to the war on women category? Or would fewer guns, being objects, mean less domestic shooting? Or only possibly lead to fewer domestic shootings. I’m gonna stop now since this has the potential to get grammatically out of control. :>)
Women are more in danger from live-in boyfriends than a legally-married husbands, but it's politically-incorrect to note that.
Most husbands are bigger and stronger than their wives. They thus do not need a gun. A chef's knife from the kitchen, or just bare hands will do.
Since a gun is what enables a weaker person to defend herself from a stronger person, taking guns away would likely result in MORE women being killed.
The correct principle in this context is that all labor is the labor of direction. The man directs the tool, and that he, and not the tool, produces the result or product. The tool is the means by which the man who employs it produces the result. So, if too many husbands are shooting their wives, then one needs to find out what are the main causes of the anger are and work to control those.

Nikki was beaten, RAPED, strangled with her own shoelaces, wrapped in a green blanket, which was then tied, by David Keen, he dumped her body into the river off the old Auction Street Boat Dock in Memphis, TN. She drowned to death. Nikki was alive as Keen RAPED her. DNA proved he did and he eventually confessed to the crime. 2 juries, up held the Death Sentence. All State and Federals Appeals are done. Yet he still sits on Tennessee Death Row because Tennessee’s RINO governor won’t sign the Death Warrant for this Child Rapist/Killer.
