Repealing the 17th Amendment above all else is needed now more than ever..

There is no more perfect example than this in the state of MI and has been for the longest time.

Profoundly red at the state level, yet the mob rule voting of the ghetto (Detroit/Flint) turns out for their goodies in national elections to elect (or re-elect) the worst socialist senators possible every time.

Here's how bad things are for Democrats in Michigan

For example if the state legislature picked the senator like the Founding Fathers intended we would have two conservative-leaning senators instead of the current two who rain down libtard-ness upon us.

Also I'm sure there is percentage of GOP voters who don't support a token RINO put up from time to time, that too might change as well.

The point being when Inhofe, Nickels and Bartlett first started in politics there weren’t any Republicans in Oklahoma. They were the ones that built the party <<

LMAO!....U mean the gene pool is gaining???...are u an old Oaky???...just wondering...

I could nit pick every politician ever born and pull votes out of context to show how terrible they are but it wouldn’t change the basic truth that whether you like it or not we are forced to vote for the lesser of evils. A half a loaf is better than no loaf at all.

You are part of the “burn the barn down to kill the rats” crowd. You are fated to be forever disappointed. If the Republican coalition is destroyed we can look forward to Hillary and her kind in power for the rest of my life.

Inhofe doesn’t deserve the crap some of the posters like you are selling. Reserve it for Hillary and Trump.

Yeah, half wit, I first voted for him for Governor against David Boren in 1974. He lost. When Boren resigned the Senate seat in the mid Nineties he ran for the seat and won.

They go to Washington and then they have to be inoculated.. with the GOP virus.. to get them to capitulate ... or they will die on the congressional vine.

Inhofe has been there way too long.. way too long. We are gonna’ shake that congressional vine.. and that Washington vine.. and that Presidential Vine... it’s gonna be a party.. a huge party.. time to celebrate.. time to undo all those obama decrees... he’s gonna’ feel so bad by the time all his destruction is overturned.

we are forced to vote for the lesser of evils.

***********
No sir, your postulation creates a universe where there is only evil; where there is either absolute socialism, or a “lesser” degree of socialism —I don’t accept that- I don’t know why you do.

There is good— an example would be Inhofe when he was first elected as a solid conservative; or the 50 or so current conservative house members.

Inhofe has now surrendered to socialism, certainly to a lesser degree than Obama, Hillary or Sanders— but nevertheless, socialism. And so he votes for a socialist budget.

There’s no doubt in my mind that somewhere in Oklahoma, there is an individual who believes in the Founders’ America, limited government, a constitutional republic -— maybe even a few of them, in which case Oklahomans can vote for the greater of goods, instead of acquiescing to the lesser of evils.

.

“It is either senility or the air in D.C.—take your pick. “

Inhofe is 81 years old. I’m voting for senility.

It is possible that your 40 years of voting for him has blinded you. Rubio is the gang of eight establish candidate. Your Senator never stood with my Senator (Cruz) when he fought the surrender caucus. Instead, your Senator stabbed him in the back.

You’re living in a fairy tale world, my friend. Grow up. If you are willing to accept a Hillary type over a ninety percent or even fifty percent Conservative you are part of the problem not the solution.

Inhofe is aging and won’t be in office much longer but his replacement won’t be much different. Maybe we’ll end up with another Coburn or Lankford, who knows?

The only reason I can think of for all this support of Rubio is that he’s a president that the establishment leadership in the House and especially in the Senate could control. They couldn’t control Trump and certainly couldn’t control Cruz.

Everybody likes Marco — he’s very personable — it’s just that we don’t trust him on the issues. He’s too much of an insider.
