Anyone who sends their kid(s) to the government to be “educated” is an unfit parent. Period!

The toll would probably be much higher if there had been guns around.

There are millions on guns in this country that have never, and more than likely, will never shoot someone intentionally. So why then “gun control”? Controlling those who would use the “tool” to commit violence against someone is where the control needs to be directed. When/if there are guns no-more in this country, what will be the new weapon of choice to kill someone with? Will our so-called leaders create a new idol? Start with the individuals, leave the guns alone. Guess we can’t expect that anytime soon can we?
And how many people never lived at all because of leftist abortion laws?
Duncan’s career in public education has been remarkable. He left Chicago’s public school system in terrible shape, and that qualified him to be education secretary under Zero. Seven years later, many of the nation’s schools are failing, especially those serving the population Duncan referred to in his speech.
I’m guessing his next stop will be some sort of high-paid consultancy position, so he can help schools reach the bottom even faster. If Duncan had been a Republican, the media would have highlighted his failures in Chicago from Day One and he wouldn’t have lasted two years at the Department of Education. But as a Dim, he gets a free pass and is hailed as some sort of expert on public education.

As I like to point out, many if not most of those deaths were the result of resolution of business disputes in the recreational pharmaceutical industry.
yes, sadly, these gang members play for keeps, and shoot each other over drug deals gone bad, among other things.
yet liberals talk about how many “children” or “youth” are killed with guns, and the majority of these “children” are actually teenagers who are involved with gangs.
