It’s certainly rare to get more than you have paid for.

What the media calls “has returned” has another name.

She was DEPORTED by Mexico.

See how easy it is to deport people.

If the teen confirms his wish to go forward with that approach, the case would go to trial, and proceedings could take months, the official said.

Months in a Mexican jail might do him a world of good.

Will the Mexicans keep him for over 200 days like Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi USMC?

Nah, they’ll get tired of him in a couple of days. Imagine the whining and crying he will be creating because his mommy is not near.

Justice should also serve the victims of crimes. It cannot bring back and restore them to what they were before the crime, but it should give them the sense that their lives mattered, the state is addressing their loss, and that the person who committed the crime has been held accountable.

That was completely disregarded in the original sentence in this case.

Wasn’t there a case where Mexico was fighting to get a murderer released (or refusing to surrender a murderer) because the US has a death penalty?

Yes, “W” Bush wanted to hand the issue over to the International Court. Ted Cruz argued before the Supreme Court on behalf of the State of Texas that this would infringe upon State Rights. He won. It’s another reason the GOP establishment hates Ted.

I agree. My point is the judge seemed to be using the philosophy that some aren’t really accountable. Think of someone with profound brain damage who may cause damage to public property but not really understand their action.

The judge perverted that argument. Expect it to be a popular defense among the elite in the near future.

I knew a US Navy squid that went south of the border.
Was arrested for peeing in an alley (drunk) and somehow his wallet was gone, took a few days for the Shore Patrol to find him!

That was thirty years ago and he still whines about it!

A Mexican immigration official with knowledge of the case said Ethan Couch's attorneys had filed a writ offered a bribe to seek protection and block his deportation.

Happy to help you out there, CNN!

In June 2013, he plowed into a stranded motorist and three people who were helping her. All four were killed.

Two people riding in the bed of the teen's pickup were tossed in the crash and severely injured. One is no longer able to move or talk because of a brain injury, while the other suffered internal injuries and broken bones.

Three hours after the crash, tests showed Couch had a blood alcohol content of 0.24, three times the legal limit

At least he wasn't smoking pot.
