Look. This is nowhere Soviet enough.

California has to pass a law that you can be tried in a secret court for a secret crime by witnesses you can never confront.

THAT is the way the SOVIETS did it, California, you lame-ass pikers.

California is a hostile communist country bordering America. I would advise against violating its airspace.

Probably not a popular view, but I think even convicted felons who have fully paid their debt to society through fines and/or imprisonment, should have their 2’nd amendment rights fully reinstated on completion of their restitution.

I agree 100%. "Shall not be infringed" is just about as clear as it gets. Once released from prison, all rights should be restored.

I fully agree. If any person has ill intent, no law prohibiting them arms will succeed. Since the law can not succeed, why make it a law in the first place?

Well, that was always weird. A white collar felon is not likely a gun-criminal. But anyone who has committed a gun-crime? I don't think so.

The purpose of the law is now to control the sheep. The masters now enact a law and once enacted, they only enforce it on the slaves. The case of the kid in Texas is a good example. The people in control[politicians] wish to be the masters of the masses. Since free people cannot be ruled, they must be led, the masters impose laws that cannot be obeyed upon then. Once these laws are broken, they are able to severely punish the offenders. And, as back in the plantation days, the masters come up with privileges for the good slaves that do their master's bidding and sufficiently worship them.

Estranged family members with axes to grind are going to have a field day with this one.

Bingo, and some will use the opportunity to kill the person targeted. Who of course will not have a gun. And be sure, the aggrieved family member will.

H/T to our FRiend 2ndDivisionVet for the post.

Folks, it's here: this state law will be used as a test bed for the seizure of firearms, based on the "perceived" danger to society of the citizen.

Mental competence, judged by the state, will also be the yardstick by which firearms (and eventually other private assets) can be seized.

And if the Calif. law is challenged, it will go to the 9th Circus Court, who will rubber-stamp it and pass it on to SCOTUS - and we've all seen how THEY do business...

For thus has the Lord said unto me:
"Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees."

Correct! That was why it was passed. One step closer to total slavery. One should take note of the fact that the lawmakers never pass laws restricting the use of firearms among their personal armed guards. It is always those they desire the ones they wish to enslave that they wish to restrict. Any layman or ordinary citizen that believes that a politician, whether it is dogcatcher or president, considers him/her to be equal to them is suffering from a severe case of self delusion. In the past, some politicians did consider themselves to be one of the guys. That has went the way of the DoDo bird.

They always told me that California is the model they wish to impose on the rest of America.

This is in our future.

The guns will fly up and start firing by themselves if not confiscated?

If the individual is a threat, they should be committed. If not a threat, nothing to do.

It continues on. The only ones that refuse to acknowledge what happening are the ones that it is being done to. Kinda like the Jews in Germany during the ‘30s. They were informed by the Nazis what their plans for them were. They were warned by other Jews, whom they thoroughly ridiculed and ignored. then, when it happened, acted surprised.

The same fate that befell the Jews will happen to us. We refuse to acknowledge the facts. We refuse to accept the truth. We refuse to accept the facts.Deny, deny, deny. And when it does happen, "we", collectively, will be the most surprised people in the room.

Never ceases to amaze me: the Left ALWAYS telegraphs their punches. They TELL you what they’re going to do, before they even cock their fist back.

And when the Right gets their face punched in, they clutch their bleeding noses and say “I’m sorry, please like me”...

I agree. If they’re still a danger they should still be locked up. If they’re not a danger then restore their rights.

This does not sound like the justice system envisioned by the Founders at all.

No it doesn't, but it does sound like the "justice" system envisioned by liberals - give their beloved police even further powers in contravention of the Bill of Rights
