The juxtaposition of two American military men who could stand in the same courtroom in the coming months couldn't be set in more stark relief.
Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl faces a general court-martial for walking off of his base in eastern Afghanistan in 2009. Bergdahl spent five years in Taliban captivity, where he was tormented, before being freed in a controversial prisoner exchange last year.
Jimmy Hatch, a Navy SEAL senior chief who led a platoon into a fierce battle to try to rescue Bergdahl, was shot and badly wounded on that mission. Beside him, service dog Remco lay mortally wounded, after running through a hail of bullets at two Taliban fighters hiding in a ditch, exposing their whereabouts.

Obviously he meant to refer to Lt. Col. Mark Visger (above) who, as has been widely reported, originally "decided Bergdahls case should go to a military system similar to civilian courts that handle misdemeanor charges. It limits the maximum punishment to reduction of rank, a bad conduct discharge and a short jail term..."
As you point out General Abrams wasn't having any of that.
And, here we are again, only ONE candidate mentions Bergdahl, and calls him a traitor.

"Could" is the operative word here. I heard that the prosecution may think Obama inserted himself into the witness list by negotiating this deal and playing hug and kisses with the deserter's mom at the White House and if there is a chance of him being forced to testify he can either pardon the deserter or claim immunity and refuse to show ...maybe leading to a dismissal.
The very best answer is to let God work as always towards everyone. Jesus is the name above all names including the name of the USA. If the person will not reconcile to Him then the person is left to the alternative which is the devil’s hell.
