There is something about Cruz that seriously bothers me.

I agree. Leaders know how to talk without being fed their lines. We have never had a more shallow man than Obama as president. He can’t every deliver a few short lines on his own.
It’s my take that his administration has been a puppet one. He is told everything he does. “Do this, and then do this.”
He is not gifted, except in that the presidency was gifted to him by the powers pulling the strings.
He is the tip of the shadow government. Almost all of it is out of sight.
Then, I was all in for him ( though there was something about him, niggling about him, in the back of my brain ), but once Trump threw his hat into the ring, he was my candidate and I've only become a stronger supporter of his since then.
There is a constant drip, drip, drip of "hmmmms" and "oh ohs", about Cruz, the more I see and hear him now.

He certainly changed the conversation this season, I’ve never heard so many “Merry Christmas” salutations from cashiers in the last several years as there was this year,(probably since the resident idiot took over the White House).
I believe he can change any conversation!
I came into this thinking there was no way I could support Trump. Someone asked me back around May if I had read his platform. I said, “No.” They countered with, “You might find you like it.” I responded by saying, “I can’t see myself supporting him, so it would be wasted on me.”
I was wrong. The more I learned about him, the more I thought it was important for people to give themselves permission to listen. I started making posts that would let others know I considered him worth hearing out.
Before long, I found myself supporting him. Then it became a knock down drag out fight here, Cruz supporters vs the Trump supporters.
I know that Trump supporters go to the Cruz threads like the Cruz supporters come to ours. I still think the Trump supporters tend to stick more to issues. The Cruz supporters get downright nasty.
Finally, a few weeks a go, I just decided to play fire with fire. I’m sick of the Crewz here.
Ted isn’t a solid as they think. I’ve hardly gone after him. That isn’t right. I need to out him for who he is. He is not who they think he is.
That day is coming.

I hear you, DO. I’ve never seen a more vicious group than some of the Cruz “supporters”. I’m done with him.

Your CEO (businessman) comments were pretty astute. I agree with them.
I’ve never pushed that so you’ve been ahead of me for decades on that point.
I have NEVER posted anything nasty about Cruz, nor insulted him, impugned him, nor made insane comparisons between Cruz and some horrid historical or current person.
Have I fought back, on Trump threads? YOU BET I HAVE AND AM PROUD OF EVERY POST!
I've even been getting snarky FRmail from one of the Cruzites, which I find particularly nuts and harassing.
Sadly, I fear that this is only going to get worse and that's a shame.

I noticed that, too. It was sheepish at first, then they became confident and enthusiastic - almost defiant!
