I knew he had been fired as unfit by one police department before he was hired by Cleveland. My question is whether he’s still a Cleveland cop.
After Christmas sales in Cleveland; 100% off, everything must go! Last BLM thug out the door, light it up!
Dumbass got his 'justice'. Deserved every scintilla of it.
The “kid” drew on the cops. Gun looked real, orange tip gone. Big kid. Looked 20, not 12. Pointing what appears to be a real gun at cops?
I’m betting that the kid was practicing for a future with a local gang.
Good point. Let's say Person A and Person B are friends, sitting on a park bench. It's an open-carry state and Person A has a pistol. He takes it out his holster to show Person B.
A cop comes by and shoots Person A.
Person A and this Cleveland kid, yep, kinda stupid. But neither deserved to be shot.
Shantilla: "Whatchu call me white boy? Da name is Shan'tilla"!
If the caller wasn’t scared, why’d he call 911?
A cop responds to a 911 call of someone with a gun at a park, confronts suspect, yells "DROP THE GUN", and then shoots Person A 2 seconds later when it appeared Person A was raising the gun to possibly shoot the offier.
There fixed it for you.
The kid was walking around. I doubt they had precise intel on where exactly he was. They probably didn’t notice him until they were right up on him.
Hmmm, not sure about that, the driver seemed to deliberately go up onto the grass just to get close to him....have you seen the video? Just wondering.
The fact is, the citizens in the area who ran into the kid weren't scared. Only the police officers were.
Should have stayed in their own neighborhood.
how long would it take you to determine the gun pictured in this thread was not a real firearm?
How close would you need to be to know the difference between 6mm and 9mm?
Moosechelle Obola resembles a slightly skinnier sister of this Zulu entertainer.
Snap, indeed.
Post like this are why free republic is a dreck anymore.
This is a child playing with a toy gun, doing what children do.
I don’t think the cops can face a murder charge, as unfortunately they were called in the first place, which was idiotic. Calling the cops because a kids is playing with a toy gun alone shows how messed up this country has become. The fact the person who called the cops told them they thought it was a toy, and then the dispatcher not passing along to the officers they thought it was a toy set up a situation that should have never happened.
This kid was not doing anything wrong, playing with a new toy gun like every child I’ve ever met. You want to blame the child that he didn’t react to the police the way an adult would???? Are you kidding me.
Seriously, what kind of upbringing do some of the folks that post here have to be so insanely screwed in the head, that a child playing with a toy gun deserved to wind up shot by police?
What mental deficiency exists in people who think because a child didn’t react a certain way when a police car came racing up and cops started shouting at him, he deserved to die??
I hope folks like this are never around children because they don’t know the first damned thing about them.
Not even close to what happened. The kid pulled it out of his waistband at close range as the cop got out of the passenger door. Watch the video.
Well, that was the story - until the video came out.
A lot of the cop stories kind of melt away when the video turns up.
Makes you wonder how much was lying before video got so common?
The gun looked real to me.
He didn’t know if it was fake or not for sure, and anyhow the officers never got the word that the caller thought it might be fake. That was part of the communication breakdown cited.
the fake gun bit wasn't passed on to the cops, for good reason.
