Ah, so, you are getting a taste of winter in the north?

I know exactly what you mean about sleeping in too late. I haven’t been doing that lately but when I do it makes me feel rushed to get xx done before time to go to bed.

We’ve had warm temps and plenty of rain. We’re headed for a drop (more seasonal) in temps after the next band of rain moves on. We did get a glimpse of the sun yesterday afternoon before sunset. Sigh...

All is well here...we had a white 2-days after Christmas! LOL! Did you get snow, too, or only the frozen mix I kept hearing about from up that way?

Hope you and Bo are staying warm and dry...and the electricity is staying on!

Everything is going OK. Power has stayed on so far. Hopefully for the rest of the day. Winds have calmed down. Still below freezing.

My dad was assigned to Rhein Mein in 1964. His German counterpart in the Luftwaffe and his family adopted us and frankly spoiled us.

His kids introduced us as "My Americans" to their friends. At the time, I didn't know why they had such an affinity for us. Turned out that the father and mother were Berliners at the time of the airlift and they never forgot America's generosity.

Charlie was sort of like that when I just now let him out to, well, go #1. He did sorta the smae going #2.

I just went out to look for the paper. There is still a LOT of snow on the ground and in the roadways. Thinking of just skipping going to work. I don’t want to have a wreck on our frozen overpasses. I’m a sissy when it comes to driving on icy roads!

I’m shocked,....it was snowing Big Snowflakes here 30 minutes ago. The melted away upon hitting the ground.

Charlie went out jumping in the air trying to catch them in his mouth.

How day they invade his yard. LOL

It got up to 50 today!!! And now we have a high wind warning tonight til tomorrow afternoon. 60 to 80 mile an hour gusts. I HATE HIGH WINDS!!!
