Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) took on President Barack Obamaâs recently announced approval of additional prisoner transfers from Guantanamo Bay with a reworked version of the famous poem, âTwas the Night Before Christmas.â
Originally titled âA Visit from St. Nicholas,â Clement Clarke Mooreâs holiday poem has now become an anti-Obama screed that hopes to go viral with the hashtag #KeepThemThere.
âTwas the night before Christmas / When all through the White House / The President was transferring terrorists as a quiet as a mouse,â reads them poetic complaint. âThe terrorists were nestled all snug in their well-guarded beds / While visions of resturning to al-Qaeda or ISIS danced in their heads.â
