He’ll be in NH much too. Nashua, NH on the 28th Dec.

Iowa’s voted with the popular vote winner in the last nine elections, and by fairly similar ratios - making it the most bellweather-y state in the nation after Ohio. And as much as we malign the Huckabee and Pat Buchanan victories, we forget that the Iowa winner has been the eventual nominee 3 out of the last 4 elections. (Yes, I know Santorum ended up “winning” it in 12, but Romney only lost by 34 votes after not even contesting the damn thing.)
Oh, and both Carter and Obama came out surprise winners in Iowa on their way to their ultimate election. So yes, winning it is, more often than not, a pretty big effing deal.
Cruz needs to emulate himself back to Texas, he's losing to Trump there.
Yes I think Trump is just wanting to make sure he comes in second in Iowa and then run the rest of the table.

Yeah Romney had big crowds in October, 2012 for the general election, and not 17 months away where Trump drew big rallies and still several months before the primaries. A big difference.

There is an article posted today on FR that goes over some of Trump’s Iowa ground game.
It’s called - “Ted Cruz is Running Up Hill in Iowa.”
Go find it...among many other article about Trump’s Iowa ground game. Cruz is not going to get Iowa handed to him as that would erroneous thinking.
That’s right. You are so plugged into SC and NH because you are from Chicago? Whatever.
It's not bait. To me Cruz is a true conservative and Trump is a charlatan. I can't go with the either or. In the past two presidential elections it has been blank vs McCain or blank vs Romney or I'm not voting. Who were those blanks? I can't remember. But Cruz is the real deal.
