You’re underestimating Trump. He has a lot of support among blacks (30% in some areas) and the more you hear him (and get past the MSM bull) the more you like him. I think he only goes up. Look at the huge negatives he had and has been minimizing since he began his campaign.

He’s got the entire MSM and elites against him and yet is still 20% ahead of his nearest challenger.

He’d also take the gloves off and go after Hillary. We don’t need a weak kneed Romney type who kisses his opponent’s ass. Trump takes not prisoners.

You’re underestimating him.

RINOs would rather lose the Presidency, House, Senate, AND control of the Republican Party than stop funding of 0bama’s leftist priorities.

I respectfully disagree and think the opposite is true. Get passed the media narrative (though they secretly like it because it generates ratings)and you will find people across all demographics that will vote for him. There will probably be a record # of voters in this next election if he is the nominee, not only because of his celebrity, but what he is saying and bringing to light. I personally (of course not scientific at all) know people who were Obama supporters and worked on his campaign that are supporting Trump.

Remember a lot of that kind of videos is for drama and does not reflect what is actually going to happen.

Even if it were staying home just leaves us powerless to protest or resist it. Vote and don’t take ever congressional proposal seriously.

If we’ve already lost due to demographics, then let us go down fighting.

Personally, I think Trump will mobilize more people to go vote Republican, than he will alienate.

Once upon a time, the wealthiest people in the country, bankers and corporate heads, were Republicans. These were people of old American (WASP) ancestry who were concentrated in the large cities and educated at the most prestigious universities and who featured in the social register. That was the Repubican Establishment in its glory days.

By the mid-20th century the wealthy, well-connected East Coast Republican Establishment -- Rockefellers, Whitneys, Scrantons, Lodges, Saltonstalls, Houghtons, Fishes, Frelinghuysens, Bushes, maybe Romneys and Percys -- was more liberal than Middlewestern or Western Republicans. Establishment Republican, Country Club Republican, and Rockefeller Republican were all synonyms for the comfortable liberal or moderate wing of the party.

Those days are gone, and the old Republican Establishment went with them. Rich WASP liberal Republicans died or became Democrats or in some cases even ceased to be liberal. Nowadays, when people talk about the Republican Establishment they're talking about 1) elected officials, especially in Washington, 2) conservative columnists and talking heads, 3) Republican campaign professionals and maybe 4) lobbyists and various Washington and think tank hangers-on. Not much compared to people who passed down fortunes and seats in Congress from generation to generation.

Christie, Pataki, Giuliani are certainly more liberal than other Republicans, but they aren't anybody's idea of "country club Republicans" and are hardly Establishment in a way that some of their opponents aren't. They're just East Coast Republicans. It would also be surprising to people a half-century ago to find "elite" Republicans representing Arizona or Utah or South Carolina, rather than New York, Connecticut, or Massachusetts.

The information age has led to a fracturing of the GOP, as it becomes very easy to fool our people with the drama of tactics. While we do have rinos among us supporting leftist policies that distory or replace our base with one more friendly to Democrats.

Our lack of backbone has resulted in a falure to defend against that already in play by the Democratics. The government shutdown was our last chance for Congress to reassert a dominate role federal politics.
And with it the last chance for conservatives to implement policies that would save our based from aniliation.

The desperate situation of our party and the demographics of our base has resulted in strong turnout in low number hence midterm victory.

The left have control of most of the media and school so their culture war advantage has secured them victory over the whole population. Everything from sodomy to socialsim is now increasingly popular.

What we have is most the people who grew up before they had used such dominate control to wipe out the American idenitiy of self reliance.

As the left points out this based of thoses who remember what it means to be an American are dying out, and being replaced with foreigners who have no idea what Americanism is besides the stuff that is the fruits of our freedom and self reliance.

Just like the population of kids whom they have brainwashed in school.

The American idea has been aborted well murdered by the left. In its conception thou the public schools and media and the mass importation of cultural alien foreigners.

With the dying of those who remeber what it is to be an American the left projects compete victory in a few generations. The only thing that can stop them is economic collapse, which will happen as a result of their policies if they are allowed control, But not soon enough.

Economic and goverment collapse would shatter the idea of America they have been selling which is free stuff. Unfortunately there is so much stuff and money in this country it will take a very long time for them to run out of it. Having suppressed the means by which it is produced.

That may be, however currently Trump has only moblized a small minority of the population. Not enough to win any significant turnout election.

He has alienated many more and opened himself to endless attack the likes of which only Republicans are ignoring due to our history with the press.

In a general election with even reasonable turnout he will lose to Clinton in a landslide. That loss will furthermore have ramifications for the ideology of future generations who will be raised learning of her as the first female president. Sometimes liberal schools love to celebrate. While overlooking her history of corruption and incomotent behavior.

In short conaevitivan will be largly gone as a national force. Much like opposition to corruption as kids will learn to tolerate it.

We will continue to become more and more like central and south america country.

Hear! Hear! They have lost control only due to the fact they never understood what they had attempted to control. They don’t know us - the ways we think, how we react, how far we are willing to go to make a point- to win our rights. They don’t know US, they don’t know you or you or you over there. Just keep those checks coming in and they could care less. Only when they begin to starve -suffer lack of nourishment will they begin to listen. We now have their attention. Let us speak in one voice to be heard.

Democrats have a history of supporting weak Republican to win in general elections. Look at gram in south Carolina. During the primary he gets much of his support from people who vote Democrat in the general election.

I don’t think trump can win a general election short of Hillary being jailed or assisnated. Perhaps not even against a socialist like Sanders.
That is what the polls show now, I wish I could say it will improve but for Republicans it tends to get more difficult once the Democratic attack machine gets started.

Remember they have the media which excells at attacking.

Trump could end up loseing by 30 points not just 10 which he is projected to lose by now.

Well, we will just agree to disagree, then. This election is entirely different than any other and they still haven’t figured it out.

Which is why they just need to do what they feel, and join the democrat party so they can all screw and get it over with.

Admitting who you are wil make them feel so much better.
