Ha, you’re right. Just drift along and forget our roots don’t include donors to Hillary and Reid. Forget that there are real conservatives in the race. Pretend that a billionaire braggart working on his third wife, who just became a situational conservative, is the answer.

Cruz will pass amnesty as sure as my little yorkie loves me. He did not have an illegal immigration plan for months, while the other candidates had detailed ones. And now he can not utter the word Deport, so the tens of millions get to stay (which us the definition of amnesty). And he covers up his real intent with lawyer words, like “I don’t intend to...”, instead of just saying it straight out. Even Rubio saw through that and says their plans are similar.

Freepers think they will get a conservative, when instead they will get 20 million more democrat voters and the end of any chance of conservatism.

I thought Trump was a racist who hated black people.

Now you’re telling me he has black friends...

Oh but they really don’t care about that, they don’t even think about that. They’re too busy posting anti-Trump screeds to FR. LOL

Superficial pop culture helped create this guy.

First Trump had to become successful.  Then he was hired to do a program for NBC.  Pop culture did nothing to create this guy.  He created his own success very step of the way.

Sure, he took the multi-millions he inherited from dad and went on to use crony capitalistic connections with the Democrat party to become a billionaire.

Frederick Christ "Fred" Trump (October 11, 1905 – June 25, 1999)  By the time of his death, (Fred) Trump was estimated to have amassed a fortune worth $250 to $300 million.  LINK

Meanwhile, Forbes estimated that (Donald) Trump's net worth in 1988 was $1 billion, growing to about $4 billion in 2015...  LINK

By all means moron, please explain how Donald inheritied his dad's fortune 11 years before he died.  While you're at it, explain how Trump became worth $1 billion before inheriting his dad's wealth.  You might also want to exlain how his dad's weath at his death in 1999 was only $250 - $300 million, but by that time Donald was worth billions.

But at the end of the day, there are many rich real estate developers richer than even THE DONALD.

Oh damn, and here I was voting for Trump because I thought he was the richest real estate developer...., you do realize what an idiot you are, right?

Trump is a candidate today because of his comfort with tawdry pop culture.

In your pathetic excuse for a mind, this is what makes sense to you.  Of course it's pure nonsense.  Trump is a candidate today because he felt he could help make the nation better.  I would venture to state that this is the mindset of just about every presidential candiate.  He developed a platform, ran as a Republican, and the people liked what they saw and heard.

Let's look at pop culture for a moment.  Do you think PeeWee Herman, Cindy Lauper, Adam Levine, Carson Daily, Paula Abdul, Howard Stern, or Heidi Klum could run for president and turn out public opinion like Trump has?

I'd don't, and I doubt many other people think so either.  Trump has been a valuable producer for the people who work for him, and his platform has resonated with the public.  You are an absolute fool if you buy the idea only his on-air personna was afforded him this success.

Think about and his many donations to Democrats when he tries to split the conservative vote and claim he’s really been with us all along.

Trump donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republicans who did not hold office in his state.  Did that make him a Republican?  It's would be strange for anyone who read your post here, to wonder why you attribute his donations to Democrats to infer he was a devout Democrat, but massive donations to Republicans didn't mean he was a devout Republican.  You folks who post this rot on the forum are not only dishonest with everyone else, but you're even dishonest about it with yourself.

He’s as faithful to us as his vows to his three wives.

You are despicable and dishonest.  Ronald Reagan was faithful to us.  We don't know why Trump was divorced twice.  Was it his fault, or the fault of his wives?  What has that to do with him running for the presidency?

And now he can not utter the word Deport, so the tens of millions get to stay (which us the definition of amnesty).

Add his other achievements:
- Voted for Corker bill that gave Iran $150 Billion AND nukes
- Voted for TPA
- Helped his BFF Glen Beck hand out teddy bears to illegals crossing illegally into America

Cruz, just another slick talking lawyer, cannot be trusted and is clearly a puppet for a Billionaire traitor pushing to destroy America.

Some of Mr. Trump's African-American friends and acquaintances say they are mystified by the candidate's sweeping attacks on minority groups.

Yup, "New York Slimes"

As a businessman, he was cozy with all segments of the political spectrum. Ronald Reagan was once a Democrat. Zell Miller was once a Democrat. Trump is risking huge sums of money as former business associates will turn against him. So far, I think he genuinely cares about this country and wants to make it great again. We will see that we will have policy differences domestically, but fortunately he gets it that we are at war and in great peril right now. If he hires the right people, which he has a track record of doing, he will get good advice and make the right decisions.

Trump needs to immediately hire a Business Czar, who will organize training workshops in minority high unemployment areas and partner with black entrepreneurs to create jobs and give them hope.

Yeah, it sounds good and is the 2nd best written plan out there.

But there are discrepancies, omissions, silences, vague statements, donor issues, and lawyer-speak phrases that make me doubt any of it is real.

He used pop culture before that -- the glitzy guy was well known as a pop icon before the NBC show

You are right that the direct inheritance from Fred Trump was not a factor in his rise, but Fred did give Donald a number of breaks to start off his career -- perhaps elhombre refers to that?

Reagan was divorced. His first wife was Jane Wyman, mother to Maureen, the best of the three biological children.

Because one thing that Trump will certainly love is another expensive, Big Government solution. And that's because he isn't a conservative.

Train them for what? Factory jobs? Will the government create those as well? Blue collar jobs? There are junior colleges offering vocational training all over the country already. Trump's scheme would be redundant and at the end of the day would accomplish little for the money it spent. But Trump could slap his name on it and that would make it worthwhile.
