It's rare when a politician says something surprising, or doesn't succumb to a feel-good suggestion. Which made Rick Santorum's response to Joe Scarborough this morning doubly remarkable.
On today's Morning Joe, Scarborough had teed Santorum up to agree with his suggestion that we need to "reach out aggressively to let Muslim Americans know that they are every bit a part of the American dream as you or me." But Santorum turned the tables, saying "I would ask that in reverse: what are they going to do to reach out to make sure they are confronting --" Scarborough broke in: "no, no, no. I don't think so." But a composed Santorum went on to calmly make his case, calling out in particular CAIR for "continuing to apologize for the radicals."

TLike the IRA had a propaganda, political wing to fly cover for the terrorists, Islamic Jihadists have CAIR. CAIR has no credibility nor legitimacy.
It’s always entertaining to hear this discussion around the good-Muslim versus the bad-Muslim....or the good-Nazi versus the bad-Nazi, or the good-cannibal versus the bad-cannibal. After a while, you just start grinning because it’s pure entertainment and of no value in a realistic forum.
If it were radical Christians perpetrating these atrocities it would most certainly be demanded and expected.
Why should the Muslim community be given a pass?

Islam cannot be reformed. Those facets that need reforming are basic to Islam. Any reform is basic heresy and creates another religion. It is thus Apostasy and at best will lead to another small sect such as the Druze. Reform has happened before. Tha Assassins were a reform. The Druze are a reform.
Why is it that Global Warming and Islam are the only religions that liberals like?
This is a very orchestrated undermining of the Western cutlure and nobody is asking why our leaders are deliberatly doing this or fighting this.
Our media whores love their Arabic money and will do whatever they are told to get it.
I tend to agree...although not to the point of supporting him politically.
I do not think he has been able to quite reconcile the fact that not every one has the same point of view as he, and as a result, he comes off as a little bit "preachy", much like Huckabee can do sometimes, just not as "Old Time Religion" fashion.
He did make a very good point in this instance, though, and drove it home, much to the chagrin of Scarborough.
