That will mean all of us and all of our friends working very hard to elect whomever the (R) candidate is no matter whether it's our first choice, or not.
Deja vu, huh?
My vote will go only either of two candidates.
I’d like to say the same, but how much risk are we willing to open ourselves up to with Hillary beginning the race at better than 45%?
Please spare me. Putin isn't Solzhenitsyn, the Great Russian defender of Russianness against the swarthy Moor. (And the pug-ugly Bolsheviks.)
Putin's a gaybist thug and murderer, an executioner of honest journos (they have a few over there, like we used to have), and your trope about defending Western Civ against the Salafist Menace doesn't square with Russia's 30-year suckup to Iran. Where did Iran get all that nuclear technology? Guess. And Russia's playing hand-in-glove with Iran still.
And remember who it was who supplied the heavy-airlift capability that moved Saddam's WMD apparatus from Iraq to Syria, so that the Democrats could plunge a knife into Shrub's back: "Bush lied, people died/Blood for Oil!"
It was Putin, not Yeltsin, who helped out the Iraqi Ba'athists on Moving Day, sending all the ticklish yellowcake (except the few hundred tons the Canadians found in Iraq), all of Dr. Death's biojunk and files and samples, all the chemicals and processed uranium or whatever else Saddam had, to Bashar al-Assad for safekeeping beyond the reach of US WMD inspectors.
I’m absolutely certain we do not have a chance with yet another ‘more of the same’ candidate. The only two I will support are the only two capable of winning in the general.
