A Dallas woman says she was in the bathtub getting ready for work when a burglar came to her home. But before police arrived to the scene, she was able to scare the intruder off with just one shot of her gun.
Pamela Miller told a local ABC News affiliate that she heard her home alarm go off while she was in the bathtub and she knew someone was breaking in.
She then called her husband on his cellphone, then grabbed her gun and locked herself in the bathroom and called 911.
"I am talking to 911 in the bathroom," she told ABC. "I could hear him coming through the living room to the bedroom, and he kicked the bedroom door in."

Too bad the bullet missed him...
In this liberal world we live in, I was afraid she was going to be charged with unlawful reckless discharge of a gun, or some such violation.
Its funny the report said he was a dark skinned man with a hoodie. Funny we can’t say he was Negro or black.
Obama, Pelosi, etc., believe it would have better for society if she’d been robbed, raped and killed.
The cure for this is large aggressive dogs.A good German Shepherd,Rottweiler or Doberman makes a good first line of defense from these creeps.
Exactly, I just told Mrs. jaz the same thing.
Now that's a first!
Bump
Good outcome when not only did she not allow burglar to talk, but she didn't even allow the burglar to say the first word!
When you gotta shoot, Shoot! Don't talk.
If you pack while taking a bath, you’re ready for anything!
Another great American Christmas story! Eat your heart out, Euroweenies.
Guns save lives-—
Pictures do a great job. He appears to be another son of Obie 1 trying to get some beer money, while Daddy Obie 1 is off to Hawaii.
Congrats to her husband for the gun and the time at the range. In the interview with the local station, she was ready to empty the clip into the punk, had he continued to come into the bathroom.
Good one! Listen to ol’ Tuco!
Dallas is infested with leftists, but still, a DAs career could go on life support for trying to prosecute her in Texas with the facts of this event.
Excuse me, but German Shepherds are assertive, not aggressive. Unless otherwise trained. :-)
My German Shepherd is assertive when a stranger is in the yard. She would become very aggresssive if that stranger would break into the house. She has to be if she wants in on the action before my Rottweiler arrives.
Lol, I believe that, but the aggression is an act, not a characteristic of the breed. I’ve had several gsds but am down to one.
Sounds like you have a house full of sweeties!
They’re really good, good dogs.Kind to the cats, easy going with our friends, but very wary of strangers. They are both rescuesthe Shepherd was found as a puppy wandering the streets of Cleveland, starving.Sheldon the Rottweiler was a two time loser pound puppy from Bucyrus,Ohio.Picked up as a stray and adopted out only to be brought back to the pound when they couldn’t handle him.I knew he was a good dog,he just had some trust issues and was very exuberant. He just needed some attention ad some training, now he’s great.Bella and Sheldon now have the life they deserved-their troubles are behind them now.I think that they know and appreciate us helping them.
