They've been teaching this for decades and the only noticeable result has been skyrocketing teen sex rates.

That gets me too. Let’s look at results of sex education in our schools. Is there more or less VD and teen pregnancy since the ‘60s when sex education was introduced into schools?

Does handing out rubbers in schools teach the safe sex lesson or does it just encourage teen promiscuity?

We should have discussions about these issues. Instead we just get more and more shoved Down out throats, more and more talk of safe sex and sexual choices and normalization of experimentation and homosexuality, but far too little instruction in values or morality of any kind.

We already teach it... but teaching it MORE will somehow make all the difference. Mm hmm.

SMH

What is most shocking is that the majority of voters do not see through this... or worse, agree with it.

If I am Satan and want to mess up the lives of women and girls, probably the first thing I’d do would be to create programs for safe-sex instruction and make birth control easily available for girls as young as possible.

Back in junior high woodshop when this stuff was first being introduced, a friend of mine made a wooden birth control pill with the following instructions burned in:

Birth control pill: 100% effective when used as directed.
Directions: Hold this pill firmly between your knees.

Why not just make every class these students take to be variations on the condom use theme.

If there is any spare time leftover, and I emphasize “if”, perhaps, if it pleases the powers that be, that time could be for a class on Reading, Riting, or Rithmetic. Whatever might fit into the schedule, if there are any teachers that still teach anything along those lines. I don’t want to be pushy about it or anything.

Concur, although my children go to a religious private school.

That said, I understand the argument, having gone to speak to several classes in public school regarding Israel and life in Israel.

The honors classes that I was in were very normal, but the general population of the school was like something out of a third world country. Rutting in the lunch room.

They are lost anyway and any knowledge to keep them from breeding like their parents would be a win, if they had the brains to apply it.

Mom & Dad of daughters need to teach it! Then Mom & Dad teach Girls and keep repeating, that the only guaranteed safe guard for Pregnancy and getting sexually transmitted diseases, is to behave like there is an Aspirin that is Clamped between there knees.

Dad needs to promise their sons if they cause Girls any such problem, that they are going to jail for a long stay; that is if and after the girls Father and you share in beating the crap out of him,

Exactly. Liberals can't possibly be wrong (just ask them!). If it didn't work, either there wasn't enough funding, or they didn't do it hard enough.

Double down again!

The problem with Middle School students getting STDs is that they are getting them from the Primary students (who haven’t been educated).

So it isn’t Middle Schools’ fault.

Before you laugh or moan or whatever, consider that what the average Primary student age may be in some Amish-dominant districts.

/s ... or maybe /true

How about teaching girls that they can get pregnant from sex? As best I can tell, they have no freaking idea how it works.

The best thing we could do for the schools would be to get rid of all these “behavioral scientists.” These charlatans are behind every wacko school “reform” since the end of WWII. They also “reformed” the prisons. See how well that’s turned out? Get rid of them all. Their profession is entirely bogus. Most of them have full consciousness that they are frauds. Get rid of them.

Nope, they don't have a clue.

Another step would be for parents to stop letting their daughters dress and act like prostitutes.

“Another step would be for parents to stop letting their daughters dress and act like prostitutes.”

Good luck with that.
Girls have been told all their lives that if they get pregnant, it’s the guy’s fault. That’s what everyone tells them. I’ve been teaching teens for 20 years and I always tell the girls “If you get pregnant, it is your fault”. Even if you get raped, the ER will give you pills to prevent a baby. It is solely your fault so quit blaming the boys. If you don’t want to get pregnant, don’t have sex. If you are going to have sex, you are solely responsible for birth control because you assume all the risk.

The real truth of the matter is that the number of pregnancies from rape is so small that it is basically statistically irrelevant.
