No, you are totally off base. They are not changing the rules. Any political party must have in place how a convention is conducted under certain conditions. The rules have not changed. Just like a business needs rules on how to conduct business if a happens or if b happens.

I encourage you to read about past conventions that went beyond the first vote.

It is a free country. The three percenters can stay in the race as long as they want. I want them to. The 3 percenters are splitting the moderate vote, so let them do so. Works for me. For the first time in decades, it appears the conservatives are rallying around a conservative and the moderates are splitting the vote. The best thing to happen is for Chris Cristie to come in first or second in NH. I want him in the race as long as possible. I want Jeb in the race as long as possible. I want Kasich in the race as long as possible.

Don't be afraid Rita. A good candidate will persevere. The same hurdles a conservative candidate must jump over are the same hurdles a moderate must jump over.

Is your candidate working to get the apparatus under their control? One of the things RR did when he ran, is he was organized nationwide and his supporters won local republican leadership races. His supporters then voted on RR loyalists to state party positions and in turn more RR loyalists were voted to national party positions. At the end, RR had the RNC supporting him. That is how it works. It was not always pretty - the moderates were blazing angry, but RR did what he needed to do to win. Is your candidate doing anything like that? It's a bit too late to start that now. You can defeat these people if you want to.

Do not under-estimate screwing with the proportional states.

That maneuver throws power to the establishment. Wait and watch. With or without TRUMP even in the race, it messes with outcomes and is designed against simple majority and clean voting results.
