A Southern California mosque was damaged Friday in a fire reported to authorities as a possible arson.

Flames were reported just after noon at the Islamic Center of Palm Springs, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The fire was contained to the small building's front lobby, and no one was injured. Its cause is under investigation. ...

Interesting .. a year ago, there was an awful death reported in Palm Desert. A business man was holding a Christmas dinner for his employees. He left the party by Uber taxi and the taxi dropped him at the wrong hotel.

He never showed up at the right hotel. Went missing. He was later found in a pond at the golf course where they had been holding the company party.

As far as I know, Riverside County Sheriff’s never found the killer(s).
