I tried to persuade a sorority sister to give her baby up for adoption instead of aborting it. Her response was “I’d never know where the baby is.” Yes, better dead than alive and safely being raised by people who loved him/her. The most selfish words I think I ever heard spoken.
So I assume because there’s no mugshot available that we have a “Holder’s Person” here.

Probably afraid of running into a cop there who would very much like to have a chat with her back at the station. There was some rumpus in my uncle’s hometown over the police staking out the most popular infant drop-off point because they caught so many suspects or ‘persons of interest’, which isn’t all that surprising.
That’s horrible; I couldn’t imagine any other motive for the killers, though.
