Please bear in mind that the corrupt, RINO-controlled Congress has always had the constitutional authority to impeach and remove lawless Obama from office, but has stubbornly refused to do so.
So when patriots elect Cruz, or whatever conservative that patriots elect, patriots need to support the president by also electing a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that is willing to work within its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to support the president.
