No, but he can do a helluva lot as a leader! (something we have not seen in a long time)

Well its beginning to look a lot like Trump so you will likely have the opportunity to find out if Trump is going to attempt to restore the constitutional republic or not. :-)

You wrote well, you just didn’t know the facts and now you do. :o)

He will have to do it in accordance with the constitution and laws. We have a president now who, I think, has burned the constitution in his fireplace, along with every law written.

I don’t think you have to worry about Donald Trump. He will be a fine President.

Cruz people are bossy. I think we all know that Trump can’t get rid of McCain and Linda. We know he can’t act outside the Constitution and I am sure he knows that.

Geesh. The sense of self righteousness by a few around here is repugnant.

It’s taking nothing away from Marcella’s fine response to go to the matter of ‘coattails’.
The kind of electorate the top of the ticket draws to the polls has a large effect upon the down-ticket races.
Trump will not draw the voters who support the likes of McCain, Kirk, and like RINOs.
Ditto for House State, and local races too.

So nominating him will have a significant effect on the composition of elected Republican officials.
To a lesser extent so would nominating Cruz.

Of course even more of an effect would be had in the next off-year election, whether for or against the sitting president.

Ethical bankruptcy?

The Democratic front-runner is a dishonest woman known for her lies and borderline illegal conduct.

To the Washington Post, that’s not ethical bankruptcy.

Trump offends them by being an equal opportunity offender and he’s poisoning the Republican Party.

With friends like the Washington Post, the Republican Party doesn’t need enemies.

So? The RINOcratic elite should’ve been prescribed political hemlock for their corruption of the Republic anyhow.

Good riddance.

If the Post really believes Trump is a poison pill for Republicans, why dont they just keep their mouths shut and pray to their gOD Lucifer that Trump is the nominee?

ANSWER....It is not true that Trump is a poison pill for Republicans, just that The Post and the MSM can possibly convince the masses that Trump is bad if they keep talking about him.

Again, I appreciate your point and it is spot on, with regard to the powers and limitations of the president to kick this one and that one to the curb if they are GOP senators.

I was not one of those who addressed the National Committee composition. I am well aware where these appointments are made and know they are individuals elected at State Conventions.

The National Committee is not particularly overrun with conservatives, however, or Priebus could not be seen cooperating with the Establishment trends to the extent that he has been during the Romney rules changes that occurred to disadvantage the Ron Paul forces.

( We had to know those Rules and delegate tricks could come back to bite us in the future, especially if we ever got an outsider, non-establishment candidate in there.) Well... we have one now.

However, back to the senators and the down ticket GOP troubles.

It is not by my imposition of powers onto Trump, for accomplishing a toss out of establishment senators, it has been the GOPEE themselves who have been publically howling out loud, with regularity, that should Trump become president, at least four senators would be in trouble, because they are already thought to be in tight races in their respective states.

Therefore, because the GOP said it, themselves, that Trump will endanger sitting senators and down ticket candidates, I named a few of them, and threw in some others, and wrote the following:

“With TRUMP, we have a wrecking ball to the GOPEEE in DC. These people are no friend to the country! No Democrat could vote worse than this train load of GOPEE saboteurs.”

I followed up by asking, isn’t this what we prayed for all along?

To lose Ayotte, McCain, Graham, Collins, etc., is no loss at all, since even a Democrat could vote little worse than any of them do, and at least a Democrat doesn’t wear a Republican label.

These Republican senators don’t even pretend to be an opposition party. They are enablers.

I just wanted to avoid getting lumped in with the other quotes you used, as if they were mine, or that I agreed or disagreed with them.

Thanks a lot, Marcella.

"The neat thing about Trump is that if the GOPe refuses to swallow the piil, it will kill the GOP. And if they swallow the pill, their days of sleeping with the Democrats are over."

Nicely said.

Elements of each of these famous scenarios are in play ...

Washington Post, always looking out for the Republican Party's best interests.

Ain't that the truth.

According to every (D)ummycrat in front of a microphone, they are 'praying' for Trump to be the nominee.

This article signals the paradigm shift, to fear. Memories of their sugar plums, McGovern and Mondale dancing in their heads.

The Washington Compost. I stopped using their yellow rag for bird cage liner because my talking parrot started cursing 24 hours a day and calling them every name in the book. It wouldn’t have been so bad except he called them a bunch of ‘traitorous Communist c—ts’ in front of my elderly neighbor and she almost fainted dead away.

Not that I disagreed with my parrot, but sometimes you have to sleep and nobody needs their neighbor dying of a heart attack in their parlor.
