Trump is a mortal threat to the cozy club that big journalism, big donors and career big government GOPe politicians have built and entrenched in DC.

No smear, slander or dirty trick will remain unplayed. This is tame compared to what is coming.

I’m LOVING that TRUMP poisen!

I know who is going to be made to swallow!

We need to lose AYOTTE, MCCAIN, GRAHAM, COLLINS, MCCONNELL, etc.

With TRUMP, we have a wrecking ball to the GOPEEE in DC. These people are no friend to the country! No Democrat could vote worse than this train load of GOPEE saboteurs.

I thought that’s what we all prayed for. Let’s not go all prissy and wobbly NOW.

Here's the buried mine set by Trump's candidacy, maybe.

If elected as GOP president wouldn't Trump become the the Head of the GOP just as Dubya was as a matter of custom and tradition?

His election would have some serious coat tails and could effect greater change in the GOP. Get rid of all those unknown-to-the-public RNC stooges put in place by insiders.

There would be one very raucous battle if Priebus et al decided to keep fighting him after forcing a pledge so early.

Marcella, with your background and party work, what say you?

Is this the issue that has the GOPe's hair burning?

What I think may happen is that if Trump (with Cruz as his VP) manages to get enough votes to qualify for the Republican nomination, there will be a riot in the convention between the Trump/Cruz supporters and the GOPe.

If Trump manages to pull off the GOP nomination, the remnants of the GOPe will leave and form a "Unity" ticket with the Democrats. Whoever they choose (Bush? Rubio? Ryan?) will run as the Democrat's VP.

Unknown what will happen to Congress. The GOPe-loyal members (McConnell, Cornyn, etc.) may form a new Party separate from the Trump/Cruz GOP. Or maybe the GOP will die and Trump will work with Cruz to form a new, Party. Who knows.

Sounds nuts, but nutty things may happen in '16.

This is what I’ve been saying....once Trump is Prez....the ENTIRE cesspool of DC will be cleaned out....BOTH Houses, BOTH parties. (Fear, cut-off gravy train, etc.)

The rats (in BOTH parties) will jump ship, the good guys will be empowered and we’ll see a whole new flock of ‘good guys’ ushered in. Similar to what SHOULD’VE happened, when we gave Bonehead and Midge the majority....but, they’re owned and we didn’t hold the Executive office....so it was too much against us.

Reagan effect, all over again :) This time, we need to keep it going...and not hand it back to any HW Bush types. This New Morning in America is what the lefties/GOPe are fearing, imo.

Trump has to have enough delegates in hand at the convention to take the nomination regardless of Cruz. Has to be a single candidate mandate. A coalition I don’t think works at that point

If Trump has the lock on opening day, Cruz’s position and actions will be determined by what he can bring to Trump.

As far as GOPe going rogue with your ‘unity’ party with Hillary, there’s no way that the leftists she is appeasing woyld accept that coalition. The DNC has them so ef&n nuts that they’d rather burn everything. Make Chicago 1968 look like a church picnic.

That headline can be taken two different ways, depending on how you identify the Republican Party.

Hahaha. The thought of dems and repubs joining up to beat someone who just want to take outsider money is hilarious. If Americans elected such a cabal then I suggest that the country , as founded, truly has come to an end

If Trump were as bad as the ultraleft media says, they’d be cheering on his candidacy.
