Following the heinous December 2 attack that resulted in the deaths of 14 innocents in San Bernardino, CA, the New York Daily News ran a front-page story mocking GOP presidential hopefuls who prayed to God rather than calling for more gun control.
The NY Daily News front page said, 'God Isnt Fixing This'. And the story went on to mock Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)Governor Chris Christie, former Governor Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, and Donald Trump all of whom invoked God's name on behalf of the victims and the families of the victims of the horrible attack.
According to the NY Daily News, Cruz, Christie, Bush, Carson, and Trump erred in offering prayers rather than 'solutions on gun control.'
Did the NY Daily News mention that California is one of the most gun-controlled states in the Union or that they already have expanded background checks and require 'assault weapons' to be registered with the state? No. But they sure mocked those who see the futility of expanding background checks that failed miserably in San Bernardino on December 2 and proved impotent in Colorado as well, where gunmen carried out high-profile shootings on November 27 and October 31.

I was offended when I heard about this on the radio this morning and then I realized this is just another symptom of how much we have fallen away from Him. May He have mercy on us all.

More people should be angry. I think this is the worst I have seen. The progressive agenda has no cover anymore. We are living in good is bad and bad is good, surreal times. Call me nuts all day long but truly, good v. evil, end times stuff.
See, you DO get it. I am VERY angry. When people in New York City actually MOCK God, they are mocking the very God that got them through 9/11. How's that for an in-your-face eff-you to our Lord?
This is what prompted me to write the very angry, probably unwise, and certainly moderated line that I did. I have to walk back on all that. I should follow the Bible's example: After all, did not Lot ask the Lord, "If there are fifty righteous men in Sodom, will you not spare the city?" The Lord replied that he would. So, too, should I feel: If there are fifty righteous men in New York City, I should not wish upon it nuclear fire.
