Sen. Cruz Questions ICE Director Saldaña About Administration's Recurring Failure to Enforce Immigration Laws

Continues battling illegal immigration in Judiciary Committee hearing

Sen. Cruz Questions ICE Dir. Sarah Saldaña on Obama Administration's Immigration Policy (video)

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today continued to highlight the Obama Administration’s negligence in immigration law enforcement in the Senate Committee on the Judiciary hearing titled “Oversight of the Administration’s Criminal Alien Removal Policies.”

While questioning U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Sarah Saldaña, Sen. Cruz said, “I recognize that politically the Administration supports amnesty for people who are here illegally. The American people don’t agree with the Administration on that. You are charged with following the law, the law that Congress has actually passed, not the policy views of President Obama that contradict the law.”

Watch Sen. Cruz’s full line of questioning here.

Director Sarah Saldaña needs to be tried for Sedition or at least deported to Mexico or Spain.

Cruz is so right. This administration, and previous ones have been enforcing the laws IF it’s convenient to their agenda, or not at all if that is the convenience for their political party agenda.

This type of enforcement of our laws is against the oath of office they swore to uphold, and makes this country nothing less than a toothless tiger. If we won’t uphold our constitution, our laws, we are finished as a nation.

What a beautiful thing it is to watch Cruz saw right through this fool. This is why we need to have him as the GOP nominee, so he can so effectively take Hillary Clinton apart in Presidential debates.

I agree with your sentiment, Cruz is my first choice also. But I am really of the opinion that Trump is going to win the nomination, despite my choice. I’m voting for Cruz in the TX primary and will support either Cruz or Trump as the nominee.

The point I wish Cruz would have made clearer is that the administration is obviously letting the situation to be out of control ON PURPOSE while using the chaos to push for amnesty to bulk up the Democrat voter roles. This issue needs to stay front and center for 2016.

Has anybody pointed out that the Democrats support for amnesty is announcing that black voters don’t matter?

The arguments in RINO quarters against Cruz should be expected. This is why conservatives in certain states should be focusing on House and Senate candidates who do believe in controlling the purse and getting the government out of our bedrooms, kitchens, backyards, churches, and schools.
\
Even if it means resorting to defunding and government shutdowns.

And by campaigning using those issues and asking why the go along, get alongs bipartisans refused to use these tactics which should have been applied with this bunch of socialistas bent on destroying this country by allowing a government in our faces.

AS FAR AS AMNETY GOES THIS IS A POSITION I’D LIKE CRUZ TAKE

There is no such thing as a quote, Hispanic race, unquote. It is a strawman invented by so called liberals. That term has been applied to those from individual South American countries some of which have governments hostile to US and actually claim parts of this country as theirs, and others which are friendly. They are composed of various races as we are, with the difference being their primary common language is Spanish.

This destructive utopian Mexican open border approach of even considering granting those who enter the US illegally through it. Entitlement to all benefits beyond those of what we give to our citizens destroys the value of an American citizenship. It is being promoted by the name callers mostly in socialist circles such as the democrat party as well some republicans who use such terms as nativist promoting racial division .

What we should be doing is taking a very very hard look at our relationship with Mexico along with trade and its myriad misstreatment of Americans as 3rd class citizens and its claims on American territory . There is no doubt there are hundreds of complaints, if not thousands, from American citizens who have retired there. Along with travelers running to American consulates about conditions that are going unreported because of this Mexican policy

While we are expected to allow Mexican citizens enter to our country illegally and offer them preferential treatment over our citizens allowing them to purchase land in their own name and and even voting privledges which they cannot do if they choose to retire in Mexico.

The leading Republican candidates and that includes Trump may mention some of this but thus far have refused to identify the problem let alone properly redress it by suggesting or implementing reciprocity.

Since the Mexicans are permitting foreigners transit through their country for illegal entry into ours. Any person entering illegally through that open border whether a bona fide citizen of Mexico or not should be treated as if they were a Mexican and tossed back to Mexico and let Mexico deal with them. Illegals should be offered the same rights as Americans. No property ownership and voting rights let alone access to the multitude of costly programs comm9ng out of US taxpayer pockets.

If reciprocity were implemented there would be no need to worry about who will pay for walls or border fences.Illegals would leave on their own accord . And the value of being an American citizen restored.

No argument from me on that. But if he doesn’t get it I would like to see him as Attorney General. He would destroy the these fools that are committing treason again t the country. If nothing else they would flee the country like their hair is on fire.

Let's help him get it! It will be a lot more fun to see him as president, cleaning up all the problems all at once. We need God-centered Constitutionalist at the helm now.
