HOUSTON, Texas - Presidential candidate Ted Cruz today announced the endorsement of Ann-Marie Murrell, the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of the conservative blog, PolitiChicks.com.

"Ann-Marie has been instrumental in igniting a conservative revolution in the media and blog sphere," said Cruz. "She is a woman of great courage who speaks the truth and empowers others to do the same. Her leadership has provided a platform for thousands of women to voice their views and shape the political and cultural dialog. Ann-Marie is capturing the momentum of millions of Americans who are standing up to the Washington Cartel and making their voices heard. I am grateful for her support and I am honored to have her endorsement."

"Our nation will be stronger and safer with a Cruz White House," Ann-Marie said. "We cannot withstand another two, four, or eight years of 'leading from behind.' We need a Commander-in-Chief who puts Americans' safety above all else, who is not afraid to call Islamic terrorism by its name, and who will protect citizens through a position of strength. Ted Cruz will stand with our allies, especially Israel, and will make America a home that is once again safe and free for our kids and grandkids."

Today, Ann-Marie penned an op-ed in support of Ted Cruz for President. Read the full op-ed here.

Ann-Marie Murrell is the CEO, Editor-in-Chief, and Founder of PolitiChicks.com, a CPAC nominee for "People's Choice Blogger of the Year". Ann-Marie was the recipient of Front Page Magazine's Ronald Reagan Award and she is the co-author of the bestselling book, "What Women (Really) Want" written with her PolitiChicks co-anchors Morgan Brittany and Dr. Gina Loudon. She is a frequent guest on many television and radio shows, including Fox & Friends, Hannity, and the Dr. Phil Show.

CEO? LOL! It’s a blog pimping site, with barely any traffic. Hilarious.

I’m just going to say this. I’m concerned Donald Trump could not beat Hillary in a debate.

She’s a dishonest lawyer and he is not. Bombast will not overcome her ability to weave lies at light speed. Trump’s persona will not be enough.

I’m not a concern troll. I’m a huge Trump fan. My point is valid though.

Ted Cruz was my pick from day one. Ted Cruz could cuisenart Hillary in the general WITHOUT QUESTION.

You know it and you know it.

Are there enough people so tired of politics as we who would willingly look past Trump’s debate shortcomings to tip the election in his favor?

Would Trump play second fiddle? Doubt it. The perfect ticket is Trump/Cruz but I’m having trouble seeing how that is possible.

I think Dr. Gina Loudon split them. Has a show on Youtoo America and has her own website. The Politichicks online show ended a while ago. It is just another news and commentary site. They are about the same as The Chicks On The Right who now do a radio show in Indianapolis.

The perfect ticket is Trump/Cruz"""""....

I have the same concern and thought of this often, but I will still vote Trump and pray he tunes up. What I want is Trump/Cruz and 16 years in the White House.

The Trump leaners do not seem to think he does very well in debates. Trump never seems to move the needle with the debates. It’s always someone else who has the moment and gets a bump in the polls afterwards.

It’s between the debates when Trump surges. He seems to be purposefully saying controversial things simply to claim the day’s headlines, effectively shutting his competition out of the news cycle.

Problem is, this whole strategy will probably collapse in the general election. The media right now loves to play up the sparring between the GOP. But they’ll figure out by next year that they’ll have to keep Trump on media blackout to keep Hillary ahead. And they’ll happily ignore whatever remarks he makes.

That will increase importance of the debates further. And if he gives the same flat performance in those debates that he’s done so far, he won’t win the election. Debates are the most important thing in the general election. It’s the only time most voters will see the Republican unfiltered through media bias. And as we saw when Obama bombed in the first debate, the needle can be moved dramatically by them.

TRUMP/CRUZ 2016 to 2032.........

We need Ted Cruz NOW!

Trump supported TARP, auto bailout and Porkulus bill, i.e., Trump is for big government and big businesses.

Trump's Record on Free-market Issue: (from the Conservative Review)

Trump has a terrible record on free market issues. The only bright spot is the Federal Reserve's quantitative easing, but this glimmer is countermanded by his repeated support for bailing out Wall Street and the auto industry, and increased stimulus spending. Of particular concern is Trump's belief that the government can use eminent domain powers to seize private property in the name of private economic development. This comes as no surprise, given his support for using eminent domain to profit his own company.

Trump supported the Supreme Court’s 2005 decision in Kelo v. City of London, allowing public authorities to seize private land for economic development by private investors; Trump said, “I happen to agree with [the decision] 100 percent.” (National Review)  This is no surprise given Trump’s attempt to use eminent domain in his own line of work. (Institute for Justice)

Trump supported President Obama’s 2009 stimulus, saying: “The word stimulus is probably not used in its fullest…you know, certain of the things that were given weren't really stimulus. They were pork, as we call it, or they were gifts to certain people. But overall, I think he's [President Obama] doing very well. You do need stimulus and you do have to keep the banks alive.” (CNN

Trump supported TARP, saying, "You had to do something to shore up the banks, because ... you would have had a run on every bank." (CNN

Trump supported the 2008 auto bailout, saying, “I think the government should stand behind them 100 percent. You cannot lose the auto companies. They’re great. They make wonderful products.” He also said that the federal government could “easily save the companies.” (Daily Caller

Trump criticized the Federal Reserve’s intervention in the debt market, saying quantitative easing creates “phony numbers” that mislead the marketplace and “will not ultimately benefit the economy. The dollar will go down in value and inflation will start rearing its ugly head.” (CNBC

Donald Trump has a history of using eminent domain to complete business deals. Multiple times Trump has supported the use of government agencies to take possession of homes and businesses for use in his private business plans. Eminent domain seizures are reserved only for public use of property rather than abuse by the government taking property from one individual and giving to another. (Washington Post

Donald Trump has sought and received crony capitalist tax breaks for his commercial properties in New York. These tax breaks, and even an abatement, force the property taxes of other property owners to rise at the expense of the connected. Special treatment for one business or industry over another with the tax code conflicts with free market principles. (National Review

In 2009, Trump supported Barack Obama's call for limits on the pay of executives. (CNN)
