Makes me think what Justice on an Industrial Scale would be like if they decided to prosecute all the crooks in DC.

“...Prosecutors say they’ll seek plea agreements in at least some of the cases but that most may end up going to trial....”
********************************************************************************
Attorneys representing these accused would be negligent should they not explain fully what will be lost if their client accepts a plea deal. I predict that very few, if any, of these cases will actually go to trial.

What do you think they would plead? Is there a reduced charge from engaging in organized crime?

I am interested in how Abelino gets himself out of this hole he has dug himself into.

Even with an indictment, can he elect to not prosecute?

Authorities have said an ongoing feud between the two gangs led to the shootout between bikers and police that left nine bikers dead and 20 more injured.

Authorities are admitting that police shot at bikers? Hell, I thought they couldn't even figure out how all those .223 holes were created ...

An attorney would indeed need to be horsewhipped and run out of town on a rail if he were so incompetent as to not explain to his client that the state cannot go to trial without using the evidence they are even now attempting to with hold from the various defense attorneys.

Even if no plea agreements are accepted, the state isn’t going to try even those who might have fired shots because they cannot afford to release the evidence here.

Not accepting a plea means you automatically walk, in this specific incident.

Sounds like they are all going to be charged with murder by cop just from being onsite.

I think that “Abelino” is just trying to buy time. My suspicion (and it is only a suspicion based upon similar past incidents) is that more is involved here than has been made public. And that “more” involves how the Obama regime agency activities fit into the back story. I would not be surprised if Abelino keeps trying to put things off until after the 2016 election under pressure from Obama regime ‘RAT operatives.

No one yet charged with the underlying offenses.

I have not heard if Abelino is still refusing to release discovery to the defendants.

I agree...eventually almost all charges will be dropped before going to trial.

the shootout between bikers and police

We've heard of bikers shooting at bikers and police shooting at bikers but haven't heard that any bikers were shooting at police. Sort of hard to get an immediate bead on SWAT snipers.

"...they cannot afford to release the evidence here...."

Sounds like a strong incentive to "lose" it as time goes by. Mistakes happen.

Yes, “misplacing” or “losing” evidence is not unknown among the corrupt.

“Authorities are admitting that police shot at bikers”

I don’t think they ever denied that they returned fire on the bikers. It was acknowledged long ago.

And with that loss, prosecution evaporates.

You would have to have a real dirtbag for a lawyer to get advised to even consider copping a plea here.

Well, we’ve heard all kinds of “stories” from Waco PD’s own “Baghdad Bob” to that effect. I strongly suspect that when the evidence comes out (and it will) there was no one shooting at the police.

I neglected my /s tag. We know nothing more than that, which is indicative of a cover up.

Cops shot ? many bikers, ? times, with ?, due to ? circumstances? Crickets.

Apparently, Waco cops (and associated unnamed feds) do no wrong, therefore there’s no need to pursue that angle. After all, they were bikers.

I am so looking forward to all the bad guys getting arrested and going to jail in this massacre. Unfortunately none of them have been arrested since they are all on the side of LE in this case.

I will continue to hope justice does eventually prevail though. Karma will for sure but justice would be best.

In most cases I would be pulling for LE but not this one. It stinks to high heaven and one day the truth will come out. I think all good lawmen out there would be thinking the same thing by now. In fact; it’s clear to this reader the entire law enforcement community in the county Waco is located is 100% corrupt or turning a blind eye. There is no fixing it. At this point only a complete sweep of those who are corrupt and a firing of those who turned a blind eye will fix the problem there at this point; right on up to all the corrupt judges. It’s time to send a message as one judge there put it. NO MORE CORRUPT LE in Waco and the surrounding county.
