Maybe when his 5 seconds of micro-fame is over, maybe he could go tour as an Art Garfunkel impersonator.

What is consistently overlooked in this argument is that the major networks announced a victory for Gore an hour before the polls closed in the heavily conservative panhandle. How many Republicans, thinking the cause was lost, never bothered going to the polls after work?

bttt!

My concern is if congress were ever to change the result of a presidential election because they are in the hands of the party opposite of the candidate who won. In 2004, Barbara Dimbulb Boxer joined a merry band of Totalitarian Congressmen to challenge the Ohio electors even though Bush won Ohio by 100,000. The effort failed, of course. But now? Who knows? If the Dimwitocrats took the Congress. What if the Republicans winning Ohio by 100,000 might not matter. That is why there is a 2nd amendment, I guess, and, “Removed from office” might need a new meaning.

Yes, ‘RAT strongholds where voter fraud is rampant and the zombies vote up to 110% of the eligible population — “vote early, vote often.”

What America needs to realize is that this country would be in disaster mode after 4 years of the uber-whacko environmentalist zealot policy of a Gore administration.

there really was no objective reality of the matter.

Bullshit. Total bullshit. We decide elections by a following clearly defined and objective criteria to count the ballots actually cast. Elections do not determine who hypothetically would have won under different circumstances, but who actually won under the circumstance prevailing on election day. An election is not a science project.

Does the left ever wonder what the mathematical probability was for all of the successive recounts to accrue in Gore’s favor?

Whats more, they believed that if there were only enough recounts he would eventually win?

Where does one’s mind have to be to actually believe that?

Summarizing the legal maneuverings, I simply note that in part because of Wells's dissent the ongoing recount was discontinued, the case went to the U.S. Supreme Court, and George Bush was (s)elected president.

Reminder: Bush Won in Florida Recounts Conducted by the Media

My goodness, what a narcissist.

Also, for a mathematician, he sure does not understand statistics or scientific method very well.

Counting and re-counting until you get the result you want does NOT lead to a statistically valid result.

Another good reason to keep the states heavily weighted in favor of the GOP.

Here in Michigan there is support for doing away with our winner take all system for presidential elections and awarding votes according to districts won. If it were up to me I would do the same with senators.

Michigan is doing away with straight ticket voting too which I think is going to be good for republicans. The democrats are screaming bloody murder because they know a sizable portion of their base is too stupid or lazy to vote beyond the top couple of races.

Bush made mistakes—some of them big.

Obama’s calculated missteps will qualify him as our worst and most destructive president in history, if we survive to look back on history.
