YAMADI, Syria (Reuters) - Turkmen forces in Syria shot dead the two pilots of a Russian jet downed by Turkish warplanes near the border with Turkey on Tuesday as they descended with parachutes, a deputy commander of a Turkmen brigade told reporters.
"Both of the pilots were retrieved dead. Our comrades opened fire into the air and they died in the air," Alpaslan Celik, a deputy commander in a Syrian Turkmen brigade said near the Syrian village of Yamadi as he held what he said was a piece of a pilot's parachute.

The plane got ten warnings
it was over Turkey for only 17 seconds based on radar
Both pilots punched out but we shot by ground forces as they hung in the air
A rescue helicopter was blown up by muzzies using missiles provided by the USA
Putin is evil
We support some of the rebels or terrorist
I hope we aren’t supporting ISIS but I fear we are regardless of Putin
Why are we involved with the Syrian rebels anyway? I don’t they they are the good guys if there are any there.
I fully expect that we are going to be fully involved in WWIII here real damn soon.
I have a feeling Putin is going to round up several hundred Daesh captives and put on some reciprocal action in pc speek.
Pilots who have parachuted from warplanes and are not actively shooting are classified as non-combatants under the Geneva convention.
Is Turkey a signer on that document? They just committed two war crimes if they are. And that’s a bit more serious in this case as they aren’t involved in a declared war with Russia.
Can they try to drag NATO into this when they shot first?
The Turkmen brigade will soon die very badly..
