Trump has a ground game (a team on the ground), it's just that unlike other candidates, he doesn't broadcast it every time one of them passes gas.
Hired 3 new campaign workers...
Got two more endorsements...
Bought a capachino at Starbucks...
Elevated two phone callers to floor supervisors...
Spare me...
There's a reason why some guys excel, and others shuffle the deck-chairs.

That is a little unfair. That was taken two minutes before the even started...

Trump had a ground game going months before he officially announced. The MSM, including this article, also disingenuously downplays the Cruz ground game, which probably at least matches Trump’s.
Also interesting that the MSM just assume Jeb has a strong ground game, which isn’t true. His strategy from the start was to rely on insiders and advertising. Any ground game has been added recently out of panic.

What Trump really proves is how “hands on” is a winning way. He is a master at cyber smarts, but he is also wise enough to know that ain’t all there is.
Trump is hands on and people like it. he does not act behind the curtin, he gets out there and acts one with the people!

Attendance at the event started out slowly. And then of course, it began to taper off.

Trump’s biggest hole in one is that he is constantly underestimated.
I also love that Trump warned the GOP that they are not fighting fair and that if they continue the no third party pledge is off the table.
If they break the rules, Trump gets to break the rules!!!

Trump is moving his troops under the radar so they underestimate his true strength.
Trump has said over and over again that he does note want to broadcast what he is doing. This is vintage Trump!
See you at the top President Trump.

I do not understand Cruz's low numbers
He's far and away above any other candidate with experience, knowledge and class ... including Trump
I don't deny Trump's status, but I question Cruz's low numbers

I don’t know. My 45 year old niece is very conservative, but she does not like Cruz. She can’t even explain it. LOL
i hear this all the time from others. I think they do not see him as sincere. They see him as gaming it.

I have a hard time listening to him for very long because of the way he speaks ... except when he’s in an attack mode

He does come off quite preachy, it makes his passion sound a bit contrived. Add to that the fact he’s an attorney, and a politician now you’re in for some very long winded sermons.
Trump economizes the verbiage, cuts to the chase, eliminates the PC BS, and it’s why so many trust Trump more.
Regardless I still say Cruz would make an excellent rudder for the SS Trump.
To: moehoward
I wouldn’t call it preachy, but there’s a quality that is not comfortable to my ears

You do know how they are going to come at Cruz, don’t you?
We are so screwed.
