They consider these structures and places to be idols that detract from true monotheism.
If these were destroyed, and they could convince others they had nothing to do with it, it would work out great for them.
However, if ISIS were to destroy these sites, and the world could be convinced that ISIS was responsible, it would shift the dynamic quite a bit.
I wonder if anyone is working on helping this along?
Since Islam has stated its intent to rule the world, either the entirety of Islamic ideology must be destroyed (Mecca would make a fine starting point), or areas around the world must be declared Islam free zones (for now), which will require a constant defense as the rest of the Muslim world grows, like breeding rabbits, ultimately wanting to take over the Islam free zones too. It is a global battle that will inevitably come to pass, of which we are only at the very beginning stages of.

The most fanatic of the Jihadists might well destroy Maka themselves. They consider anything that might be taken as an object of veneration other than ALLAH to be pagan. That is why they destroy even Mslem holy places with historic significance. Turning Maka into a glass pit would not affect the requirement that every Moslem man visit the place once in his life if he can.

There’s some doubt about Russia being included in the
Muslim invasion of Israel in Ezekiel 38 & 39. Some
scholars think it will be only Muslim nations in that
situation . . and due North of Israel is not really
Russia, rather Turkey. - At any rate, in that war, the
FURY of Jehovah God is going to come up in His face. -
There is a debate about it. I don’t subscribe to it.

15 You will come from your place out of uthe uttermost parts of the north, you and vmany peoples with you, wall of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army.
“uttermost” or far north, due north of Israel is Russia.

globe, a straight line drawn from Jerusalem up through
Russia to the North Pole, true north; the line will just

It will probably come to that as the war with Islam progresses. It’s something some of us have been talking about for years. Some people have gone so far as to suggest destroying Muslim population centers as well.
