Bill Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard, made a bold pronouncement on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" Sunday, predicting Vice President Joe Biden will get in the race for president Monday or Tuesday.
"Joe Biden's going to get in, I'm quite confident. I think he'll get in tomorrow or Tuesday," Kristol said. "I think he'll go to Delaware, presumably, and he'll announce in a state he represented for so many years, and I think he'll be a strong candidate."

Date on the story is wrong. Should be 10/18/2015. But Kristol was wrong in his prediction, in any case.

Sorry, it was a mess from the get go. A Shiite government was established - full of Iran’s cronies — and that happened early in Bush’s presidency. And all along, Iraq’s Christians were being blown up by the Shiites who were allowed to run wild after Saddam was taken out. The “Surge” paid some tribal chief to temporarily calm things down, but it was still a no-go land outside of the Green Zone.
“You took out our biggest enemy in the world and he was replaced by our friends, so Iraq is now our closest ally. Thank you George Bush” — Your friend, Iran.
The insane thing is Romney and his bots are still acting, or pretending, like that may happen.

Nope, I just know a stupid policy when I see it. Trump says the same thing about Bush’s stupid invasion of Iraq, by the way. The vast majority of Americans agree. And the GOP elite knows it. That’s why Bush is never shown at a GOP convention.

Bill Kristol has only one function in life: periodically making predictions that are so mind-numbingly stupid that he gets a story made about himself.

Sorry, my rhetoric is light years away from Obama’s. I pointed out that taking out Saddam - and empowering the Shiites - was a DISASTER for Iraq’s Christians. From 2003 on, they were being slaughtered by the jihadis. I’ve never heard Obama talk about that. (Unfortunately, you never heard Bush talk about it either.)
