Who is sponsoring them? I read earlier that the Catholic Church and a branch of the Methodist Church were big advocates for them. It may be true and it may not be true.

That du b an understatement.....Remember “Pearl City” area of Boca.....the PoPo used to say they threw guns over the fence so as to help the self improvement movement of the area if I recall correctly....course that was decades ago..West Palm, I am told, is getting unlivable in many areas...
I do a lot of business in the WPB/Riviera Beach area. Some pretty rough areas. Some are fantastic.
